In Oasis

Amrita went high-street again in a cute blue Oasis playsuit paired with a Chanel chain bag. As cute as she looked, the look was weighed down a lot by the Lanvin lucite sandals. Don’t get us wrong, we lust for those sandals. Just think they didn’t work for this particular look.

  1. Horrible look, should have worn judy garland’s ruby slippers for halloween. as for that headband, how juvenile can she get???
    most age-inappropriate!

  2. Extremely inappropriate dress for a baby shower! and how come you don’t find the length of the dress odd! She seems like a 16 year old going for her first movie date!!!

  4. i dont think her look is that horrible. maybe not appropriate for the occassion but it would def be fine for a casual day out.

  5. She seems to think she’s Betty Boop, albeit color blind. Is it just me, or does her chest portion look like she’s wearing inflatable boobs?

  6. She is preggo again! Aww! But still childish dress for the event alongwith big sis! Funny how Arpita actually looks more event appropriate compared to them!

  7. I fail to understand y sum1 cant wear a particular dress/color just coz she’s of a certain age. I hate the idea of having to dress ‘for ur age’ even if u have the face & body that cud put many underagers to shame. Who decides the dress-fit-for-age group protocol anyway? For me its the entire package of an individual dat shud work with a particular luk & not the A-G-E,which more often than not,is messed up with.
P.S. I know i sound lyk a 50 yr old(or a miss Singh Dhody to some) desperately wanting to squeeze into itsy bitsies, but in reality m not all that & this is just a point of view.

  8. why is she dressed like blair waldorf? isnt she a lady in her thirties? and WHAT THE HECK is with his “lookitmeeee” pose? you are walking into a BABY shower for crying out loud.

ditto comments for her sister malaika. idiots.

  9. Perhaps its only me, but I truly fail to understand a grown woman’s (pregnant at that) seemingly deep seated need to dress ‘young’. I have nothing against short dresses or shorts or whatever, but surely the hemlines should correspond with age and appropriateness of occassion etc? Perhaps the Arora sisters feel its ‘modun’?

  10. Am curious.. who decides what length is apt for what age? What’s about this dress that makes everyone says it teenager only?

  11. Im not digging this look at all The cut of the dress looks odd on her and the colors clash. She’s dressed like a wannabe teen

  12. I am 32 and I would rock that dress anydays …and may be she should have worn different shoes or malliaka would have carried a different bag …BUT these girls can carry off this dress ..
Blue short frocky dreseses with white (polkas, small prints ) is hot this season.

Dresses should be place appropriate ( bikini in a beech , cocktail dress for night party , boots for winter , and shirt dreses and shorts for summer ) In india after april , owing to weather we have , we all are allowed to be seen in tiny winy stuff … make it a little body specific .

Baby shower for celebrities is just another occasion to get together and party , I won’t even assume that they would be attending a puja there …

if I were to pick at all …I would rather question her wearing high heels if she is pregger .. :):)

  14. I don’t care about this age appropriate nonsense. If you have the bod and the attitude, by all means. But I would def dig on the ocassion appropriateness. Sadly, this frock on Amrita for a baby shower feels like she is trying to fulfil her teenage dream on some one else’s celebration.Hah!
