Ameesha At Cannes 2013: ‘All Is Lost’ Premiere

For the red carpet, it was another Manish Malhotra for Ameesha, this time a lehenga we’ve seen many variations of on these pages.

Ornate as the lehenga was, the ghostly face make-up killed this look.

Props, though, for keeping it graceful. Looks like someone finally got the memo! Keep it up, Ms. Patel.

    • hahahahaha all these Indian celebs see Aishwarya at Cannes year by year so when they finally get there they end up imitating her. The only difference, they actually know who Aishwarya is at Cannes. Aside from Freida & Aish I doubt they know anyone else’s name, but nonetheless it’s nice to see Indians there.

      • Sorry to disappoint, but I doubt most people know Aishwarya at Cannes. She’s simply there to endorse brands – she is photographed for brand exposure in the South Asian markets. They might only remember Frieda as “that girl in that Slumdog movie”.

    • she is following Aish makeup routine, compare aish makeup in the green metallic dress and her ….. it resembles like they were attending a hallowen show !

  1. This chick is one of my LEAST favorite bwood ppl but she’s actually not annoying here! Modest, Indian and somewhat classy. hair needs help but i don’t hate it!

  2. Ghastly makeup! She seems way to excited to be on the red carpet, who waves out like this? The lehenga is boring, dull colours and cut both do nothing for her ! Disappointing

  3. This is the first time I couldn’t help laughing my a$$ off when seeing a celebrity on the red carpet. seriously… as ghostly as she looks, for no logical explanation, I also notice lipstick stains on her teeth..or is it the halo effect!! Someone should have stopped her from the foundation overdose, several shades lighter

  4. After looking divine in the photoshoot, this is unfortunate. The make-up is really bad. If that had been lighter, she would have looked very nice. Yes, its an MM look that we have all seen, but not common on the international scene. I love that she is so covered up!

  6. LOL.. props to her for keeping it graceful? You’re kidding right? She looks like a kid in a candy store 😛 Covering up head to toe does not make one graceful!

  7. I am not a MM fan. But despite the white paste on Ameeta’s face she looks good. I am so glad to see so much bollywood representation for the genuine reasons, i.e. films, films, films!

  8. What’s the point of promoting her film at Cannes? Anyways. Looks like getting invited to Cannes isnt as exclusive. Foundation is a horror.

  9. I don’t think she should get so much shit for trying. I’m just glad to see her in something other than short dresses, skirts, shorts, and revealing outfits! Kudos to her for at least trying. This is much, much, much better than what I’ve usually seen her in.

  10. So I read somewhere that any one can pay up to premiere/showcase their films. So it’s like you book a hall and put up your movie. So, the thing is that since people back home are not aware of this and the film stars/film gets good publicity. So good for them..
