Amala sported a rather striking look in a black sari by Chaitanya Rao and an Amrapali nose ring. If not for the tugging at the drape, which made the look feel a bit forced, I would’ve given this look two thumbs up. As is though, it gets one. Just because, overall, it still was an interesting look.

It’s a lovely saree and blouse, made vulgar by the drape-tugging, and ruined by the unnecessary addition of the nose-ring.
That nose ring and the the tugging is rather pathetic. She is trying too hard to look different. lol.
totally agree on the trying tooo hard part. looks too forced.
I agree, the nose ring works sometimes, but this is not one of those times.
The crappy draping doesn’t help. I can see something like that work with a high neck blouse in theory, but nothings working here.

there is a difference between being naturally put together and trying to hard ! She falls in the latter category !

Did she spend the whole evening posing like that? And she has a naturally beautiful face , why choose a foundation color so much lighter?
Umm…no. The only thing I find interesting here is her commitment to make sure her pallu is not covering the curve. I categorise this kind of trying too hard-ness as Rape of the Drape!
