Wearing a printed dress by Saloni, Alia took in a movie screening recently. A pair of black ankle-strap sandals rounded out her look. A wispy ponytail or a messy top-knot would’ve helped lighten up the look a tad. As is though, while it wasn’t much to write home about, the look did work on her.

The open hair gives it an easy breezy feel whilst seeming dressed up, things a knot or ponytail wouldn’t have done.

i am getting so bored of Alia’s dewy makeup – she should try red lipstick looks better on her…dewy look makes her look tired
I don’t care much for the two-toned dress. If it was two-toned below waist then it would have been ok. This looks a bit weird to me. Plus the gown is 2 inch
If with the black piping band, I find the black sandals a bit harsh. A nude sandals would have been better.
Why does she always pose with her lips sucked in? Just the exact opposite of a pout !
Commenting on people’s dressing can become too harsh, especially everyone is so judgmental when it comes to an actress’s clothes. In reality, nobody is ever 100% perfect. Sometimes the hair is amazing but your heels aren’t. Just imagine having to attend 100 events and being perfect all the time. Nobody can be a 10 every single day. This is just a reminder that these celebrities too are human and can do whatever the heck they want to.
If I was getting paid $$$$$ everytime I stepped out, I’ll be kinda expecting and accepting the critique. They are brands and are rewarded heftily for it. it I don’t; so my heels don’t match my hair and nobody gives rats ass. I do get critiqued and have performance review at work by peers.
I don’t understand why do people so opposed to critique even on a fashion blog which by definition are opinions. It’s not like we are calling her names here and shaming her or even if celebs were under pressure of our words alone changing their looks.
Don’t you think that is what is expected from them. People made them to be what they are. So its their duty to do justice to them so as politicians.
Alia makes me hit snooze button … somehow she looks so washed out of late. Miss her spark…Even in the Hook Up song she looks dull .
Did Alia stop smiling? I miss the freshness she used to bring to looks…she’s been feeling a bit robotic lately.
She’s getting boring. It’s almost like you post about her coz you have to. Seriously give her a much needed break from your page guys …
She looks rather nice here. She looks the best when she keeps it simple and fuss free, especially love the barely there makeup. I feel some are too critical of her on this forum.
This dress feels too Zimmerman-ish.
Also, can you ever make up your mind on the critique? I feel like you throw in a compliment at the end just to not upset the celebrity.
