It is weather appropriate and thats about it. That said, this whole set of promotions proved to be a whole lot of smoke and mirrors.
I feel had the kurta been sans gathers, those sleeves would have looked nice. Right now, those sleeves, the gathers, the wide legged pants and the dupatta, altogether all too much.

She was brilliant in the movie though.. not sure about her promotion looks but people would want her to watch again and again on screen.
For a sec i tot this was DP..ofcourse i was half asleep but still.. such DP vibes!!
Her posing reminds me of when I was sixteen and arching my neck in every picture. By the time I was seventeen I figured out I wasn’t meant to be statuesque.
I hope she gets that memo soon. She doesn’t need to transform herself to look good when she already looks good. The suit is light and breezy.
The only kalank is her one-leg-out-pose. More than annoying now.
