Crop-tops/jackets, joggers/sweats and chunky sneakers, not a combination we expected to see on Alia (given the style she usually seems to favor) back-to-back. Dressed-up for promotions in Annakini or dressed-down for travel in Nought One, which look do you think Alia fares better in?

  1. Both looks are a miss for me… don’t like the crop top, the trousers or the platform sneakers. Especially hate the sunglasses. Alia can do much better.

  2. Whether it’s the Ranveer effect or the theme of the movie, both the looks are half assed. The hair and make up doesn’t jive with the outfits. It’s like she wants to do the street grungy look but can’t go the hole hog.

  3. The look on the left is young and fun. The one on the right is I’ll fitting and uncomfortable. And those glares are giving me the flares. Horrid!

  4. anyone else find alia’s sense of dress very strange? Like I never see a personal sense of style shine through any of her looks? Even Deepika has a streetwear vibe going on but with Alia I’m not really sure whether she has a sense of style to begin with…hence most looks seem mismatched on her or something amiss even if she’s looking pretty. I know we’re not meant to get personal but I do feel like this has to do with a lack of education and not much exposure (hopping into movies at 17) because style is essentially a reflection of one’s personality and lack of exposure/experience followed by being blindly styled and treated as a hanger for someone else’s aesthetic (ami Patel) results in such ineffective, drab looks….

    • Absolutely…
Most of her styles remind you of seeing it somewhere, on someone…
During her initial days she was developing an individual sense… but somehow it got diluted
Even you know the bimbos will have a skin show every time
