Alia, along with several other actors, met with the Prime Minister in Delhi and was spotted wearing a mint colored Manish Malhotra anarkali with Aparajita Toor kolhapuri wedges and silver jhumkis.

It’s a celebrity fashion site. So whatever reason Alia was there for ( photo op or national award coaxing or maybe just bcoz she was invited n didn’t want to be rude by saying no to meeting the prime minister), she seems to be appropriately dressed. She looks understated classy and good!
Alright I am just going to comment on Alia’s cloth and she is looking beautiful and love love her anarkali Kurta!
Interesting how all the ladies are in desi wear. Maybe after Priyanka Chopra received so much flak for wearing a dress when meeting the PM some months back, the ladies were a lot more guarded now.
It’s usually a dress code.. unwritten but followed. Ministry (Indian) offices.

I must admit I’m disappointed. I did read until it was 40 comments long and felt happy that there is this space to vent, given how there’s hardly any other platform which attracts like-minded women to voice thoughts about something (#metoo) that has ramifications for all of us in one way or another…
I’m not sure what happened and I’m sure you have your reasons (understandable), but it does feel sad to see the space gone… 🙁

Some people didn’t like no Fashion comments.. there wasnt anything offensive, more like opinions on what worn where n why, n why was it so important, who is important on this platform, purpose and stuff. Was good to get to see the disconnect of audience with stars of current crop, and political views. The page got serious
