Alia attended Dharma CEO Apoorva Mehta’s birthday bash on Thursday evening wearing a floral strapless dress and blazer, both from Magda Butrym paired with red pumps. Keeping everything else simple was a good move given the floral print. She looked great!

The dress is nice but it sits weirdly on her chest.
That dress is sliding to the right and making the chest look weird! Or maybe it’s the pose throwing off the chest fit? Strange! Don’t like the hair style either, looks unkept. Liking the sweet smile of the first pic though!
She needs to stop trying to be someone else and just be herself! She’s such a beautiful, talented young woman and she needs to own it! No more trying to be Deepika, Katrina or some Hollywood wannabe Alia! Be yourself!!
What does that even mean? Who is she? Do you know her well enough to say she’s not being herself with her fashion choices? Why must she obey your view of who she is?
And what is a Hollywood wannabe? She is wearing a floral mini with a jacket – I don’t understand where the Hollywood wannabe term comes from.
Can we all just stop acting like we KNOW these people? We only see what they choose to show us and they’re human like us who can try different things and want to be different things!

Thanks for calling that out. I see that a lot of this blog. How readers like us determine someone is a wannabe is beyond me! Atleast, this time Alia was compared to BW celebrities otherwise it’s usually one of the Kardashians like they are the gold standard for fashion.
In this case, the blazer covers the entire dress, could’ve skipped it, it’s too much print. She looks nice in the colors

Apart from the neckline and the shine of the shoes, I kind of like this look. Keeping things simple was a great move.
