In Tarun Tahiliani
After two appearances, Alia stepped out yet again for the Women of Worth dinner hosted by L’Oreal. She wore an off-shoulder chintz print Tarun Tahiliani gown that had an intricate back detail and paired with a Victorian style choker. This to me was much better than the red carpet outing and she looked good. Having said that though, that choker wasn’t really working with that neckline.

Rhea dresses everyone with Sonam body template , this gown and the previous one would look fabulous with Sonam / Dipika body type . She really needs to do better for petite dressing . Also the makeup is drab for night event , even a darker shade of lipstick would have elevated this look so much more !
Thanks for such a comment. Identifying what could have made it better rather than put it down.
(cue downvotes).
she has looked drab and disheveled in every outing so far. Her team is doing her no favors with any of these washed out looks
loreal? you guys. really?
She also followed up with a statement that she relied on ghee, jaggery and peanuts for her glowing skin. I’m sure L’Oreal loved that shout-out lol.
that cleavage is so fake! why so much pressure on these women to fake and flaunt?
someone lost a carpet!
She is looking very elegant
She’s leaned into the Victorian era for many of her choices. Fair – she and her stylist picked a theme – maybe because they were watching Bridgerton or were just inspired. I like that for her.
She’s actually wearing a stomacher here! Nothing more Victorian than that. While it’s not my fav, the necklace has bows! Another Victorian reference.
Agree the jewelry doesn’t do at all. And her eyebrows are way too over done and reminds me of Shalini Pandey
This doesn’t work. The neckline emphasizes her broad shoulders (in comparison to the rest of her petite structure), the neckpiece totally doesn’t work with the outfit and the print of the outfit itself is so busy, it’s kind of overwhelming on her.
This looks like upholstery fabric though…
Hmm, the outfit feels very carpet-like, and the bunching in the middle looks awkward — more like a fit issue than an intentional design choice. The washed-out makeup makes the whole look feel a bit drab, which is especially underwhelming for someone representing a makeup brand. Also, the neckline is starting to feel repetitive; it seems to appear in almost every outing lately. I’m sure Alia gives her best, buut her best to me doesn’t seem like international ambassador standards. Lot more deserving candidates out there who may not have power and access like her
hella overhyped, this ‘star’. at this point i am looking forward to even tara sutaria’s cannes outing! why don’t you feature her?
no idea what all the hate is about-she is working this look and it’s not an easy one to pull off!
I am tired of this woman serving us a whole bunch of nothing burgers. Like a stale appetiser/tease sent to open the act and increase audience hunger for the main act. When are we going to see Aishwarya! Wth right now even Aditi and Tara will do. On an aside would love to see Tamannaah, Kareena, Rasika walk the carpet some day!
A comment about the choker regarding what I think they were trying to do: the choker matches the stomacher jewelry piece Alia is wearing (stomacher is like belly bling: cue Queen Alexandra references that woman loved a stomacher, think rows of brooches all along the abs). All of this is very Victorian with the chintz and the pearls and the Baroque finish on the jewelry. I think they were going for a total vibe. But the true Victorian jewelry parure includes a long necklace which is missing and throwing off the vibes…
Don’t like this look at, and haven’t liked any of her looks through out.
Also kinda disappointed you didn’t feature Roopi Gill.
And you are disappointing me by using Diet Sabya as your handle when you are not Diet Sabya.
Omg did I just strike a nerve?
I have never been able to unerstand why do Alia and Deepika get so much hate? no dislike or crtisism, but hate?
Should have rather dressed as Gangubai – that would have brought some drama on the carpet considering her yet another overall insipid show at the Cannes.
And anyway, that Gangubai character remains inside her rent-free, especially in her voice box.
I didnt like the pale pink dress but face-up she looked young and pretty with that hair do. The oiled down middle part tight bun is aging her.
