Wearing a gown by Terrence Lobo, Akshara attended the IIFAs. Dramatic eye make-up, slicked back hair and a cocktail ring rounded out the actor’s look. The dress with its embellished tiers, fringe and train had a lot going on… And I can’t help but think Ms. Haasan looked rather overwhelmed in it.

The hair is what really makes this a thumbs down for me. It’s making her head look so big! That, coupled with the eye makeup is just a monstrosity.
For a moment there I thought it was Manisha Koirala !
She is a very pretty and young girl so she could have really done better.
Sorry to sound like her aunt, but really, where’s the cherubic girl she was until this appearance?
For a sec i thought that was JLaw. Love the smokey eyes.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen someone whose eyebrows have no arch at all – they’re straight lines across her face. Re: her outfit, I think she looks fine, not overwhelmed at all. I think her expression here is a bit odd – it’s a sort of half frown/smile – but overall, she looks good.

The gown is definitely okay on her. But that makeup and hair does not suit her young/pretty face.
Wow! Either I must have really forgotten how she looks or her makeup is awful here.. You can’t recognize if this was her. And there is something really uncomfortable with the way she holds up her face too !
This girl has one of cutest faces in town….but here….she should her shoot her make-up artist
she seems very uncomfortable and has to relax in front of the camera’s.
