On The Ramp
Aishwarya was back on the ramp as part of her ambassador duties walking it in Paris on Sunday in an off-white pleated gown that seemed to be very inspired by the Sri Lankan kandyan sari. The gown/sari itself was pretty nice but wearing it with that stark white bodysuit didn’t quite seem to work here. Considering we saw other brand ambassadors pick color, wish she’d picked something else to wear.

It’s a striking look at a first glance but some missteps are obvious. That bodysuit/blouse has no business being paired with the gown/sari. I don’t know if it’s the lighting but her face looks whitewashed.
She can’t pull this look off. Looks forced and her makeup artists have one lipstick shade for the entire tour.
The ivory saree drape is lovely, however the colour of the bodysuit was totally off, looked like it was soaked in Ujala!
This comment is spot on
Does look like Ujala
She looks like Liz Taylor
Holy holy!! That makeup! Looks like a super fair twin of Aish that I knew
The whole concept of having a runway for makeup brands is confusing.
Doesn’t look like a ramp outfit, rather looks like a plain white saree worked last minute with a cape and t shirt blouse as a gown.
She needed a bolder lip colour.
The white outfit is underwhelming..and two diff tones look bad. in fact all the ladies who walked for loreal wore meh outfits. Glad it is a pink lip instead of the loreal red on Ash this time.
When you are so rich, so pretty, so famous, and have access to the best of everything in the world, this doesn’t make sense to me. This outfit is senseless. No idea where it starts or ends or what it is supposed be.
The dress looks bad and the two shades of white, worse. But what a welcome change that pink lipstick is! Suits her too.
Seems like last minute she wanted to go the conservative route and this is the best body suit they could find.
Agree, it’s very clear that she wanted to cover up. Now I’m curious what the original look was supposed to be like. I don’t think her “I don’t care about fashion” and swanning in at the last minute is doing her any favors when she’s representing a major brand on stage.
the white body suit doesn’t work – its like a rebel statement against the plunging necklines and high slit outfits!
but this is Ash and she pulls it off better than anyone else
Why does she never change her hair? I feel like a ponytail could have elevated this look. It looks tired thanks to the same hair and makeup that she always does.
Very bees saal bhoothni vibes. Maybe it was Halloween themed otherwise no explanation for this atrocity
Hahaha so true. Or nirupa Roy the vidhwa ma from 70s
Hahaha omg, your comments cracked me up. So true.
Lol I didn’t say that as it sounded politically incorrect in my head, I was thinking more Lalitha Pawar, but Nirupa roy is yeah, spot on :))
She could’ve just worn a basic black bodysuit. The contrast would’ve still looked a lot better than this.
Maybe its my display but the two images carry two different shades of lipstick colors.. eventhough i dont understand this dress, i feel that she looks good in white..
The white contrasting body suit completely kills this look. Though Ash has the right attitude about not dressing the best, she’s owning it and sashaying down like a pro that she is!
i do not understand this. what is this supposed to be? the two shades of white completely ruin this “look.” she should’ve just gone with a black bodysuit if it HAD to be a bodysuit. love the lippie, and that’s about it.
This feels like someone rummaged in the bags and pulled out a thermal onesie for a last minute save. The rest of the outfit is dreamy but the white bodysuit is so harsh.
Ash also needs to change her hair and makeup. They’re boring. She can do so much for older women’s fashion but she’s stuck doing the looks she did at 35.
