In Sabyasachi

Wearing Sabyasachi, Aishwarya attended a special screening of ‘Kochadaiyaan’. Styling wise, Aishwarya didn’t do much. It was the same ole hair and same ole pumps. But, she looked nice and all that credit goes to the outfit.

  2. I am genuinely curious as to why Indian women are so terrified of experimenting with hair. If you look to the west, particularly Hollywood there is Halle Berry, Helen Mirren, Jeniffers Lawrence and Hudson etc who play with hair and come off looking fun and youthful. Closer to the border, looking through the society pages of a Pakistani newspaper I saw women with all sorts of cuts (Maheen Khan etc). My point is this look, with all its volume and busy-ness would have looked so much better with, at the very least, a scraped back bun.

  3. Hair tied back would have suited the dress better.
But I think she is not doing it as it may make her face look bigger (seen many people who after weight gain prefer to keep their hair open with volume in it as it tends to make the face look leaner) and aishwarya has good knowledge of such techniques, such as keeping the legs crossed while standing which makes the hip area look smaller. (No -ve meaning itended in this comment just mentioning the fashion techniques 🙂 ).

    • She should pick other colors also, oflate she is generally seen in either of the 4 colors – Black(mostly), offwhite, pink, red.

    • Yeah I thought how come pinkvilla is saying its a Pankaj Nidhi outfit when it has Sabya written all over and then I came here and realized P&P just pulled up the trump card 😉 awesome back hand compliment (evil laugh)
You ladies haven’t yet posted her Loreal look yet. She looks gorgeous in it. As for this I’ve nothing amazing to say so I’m just gonna read the comments and watch it hit at least 75.

  5. It has been very refreshing to see Kajol trying out new and fashionable outfits. I really wish Ash would try something similar. I understand free will and not caring too much about fashinista norms. Maybe, she is being herself but I want to say that it is about time she sits up and take some notes when she repeats one fashion folly after another. She is still a global ambassador of Bollywood of sorts and has resources to wear the best. It is just a lack of interest..or..idk

    • Dear Prep-y, Is it not obvious that she dose not care. From the beginning she made it clear that she dose not give a damn what people thinks about her and what is In (fashion wise) and what is not! She is a woman with a very independent mind and knows what she wants. Why you people even bother!!!

      • Dear Amit, I personally don’t care that she doesn’t care but…… Kalyan Jewels, L’Oreal, Longine, Nakshatra Diamonds, Lakhme…to name only some of the ‘beauty’ endorsements linked to Aishwarya. So, yes, it is expected the she dresses up in public appearances. I understand that her clothes really doesn’t have to be the “in thing” because it isn’t for everybody. Let’s take the above attire for example….all she had to do was stop clutching the dupatta and tie her hair up…simple bun…and voila, a whole different Aishwarya. I think the point Prep-y was making was small efforts that Aishwarya needs to make. And to be honest most independent people tend to embrace “risks” ….a trait lacking in Aishwarya’s fashion world.
