If it isn’t Abu Sandeep, Aishwarya is sure to be spotted in Manish Malhotra when it comes to her Indianwear. Throwing us no curveballs, Aishwarya wore the latter to a reception earlier this evening. Emerald and diamond jewelry and a striking red lip rounded out the actor’s look.
She looked nice (even if a little predictable).

She cuts a striking figure for sure with the white lehenga and red lip. Her hair actually looks good for once and it’s not covering half her face. But gotta say the cold shoulder blouse is kinda lame

Such a boring look. A gaudy suit made worse with the red lipstick. It’s not necessarily flattering on her either . The shoulders look really lame.
She has the face, body and the height to carry some spectacular outfits instead we see only sacks and tents. When was the last time Ash wore a gorgeous weave like a Kanjeevaram or a Banarasi? All we see is the same “ghisa-pitta” MM or AJSK.
This would have been a perfect occasion for her to don a good benarasi weave.
Why is every other guest dressed in a Manish Malhotra! As if the designer knew it was going to be a highly publicised event and his clothes would get a lot of attention. Sabyasachi is already popular with brides and the Anushka-Virat wedding might have skyrocketed his sales. It seems even Manish Malhotra wants to cash in on the buzz.

This particular cold shoulder sleeves does not look good on everyone…Aishwariya is amongst one of them. The color does look lovely on her though. That red lipstick just has to go. It seems like that’s the only color she owns in her lipstick collection.
