Wearing a icy-hued Manish Malhotra anarkali, Aishwarya attended a Smile Train event today in Mumbai. The anarkali, if you looked closely, was quite busy, but the one-tone color was its saving grace. She looked lovely!

Request to her stylists: try and give her light clothes ya! Dressing up like “aaj mere yaar ki shadi hai” is fine once in a while. But some events might be doable with easier-breezier stuff no? This client can DEFINITELY carry lighter, less busy stuff.

The anarkali is lovely. Just wish her styling was different. This one looks like the million pastel anarkali sightings she’s done in the past! Sigh!
Exactly ! This is so event inappropriate. Why couldn’t they have her wear something simple and elegant ?! Why is it so hard for her or her so called stylists to get it right once in a while ? It’s long been established that she’s a gorgeous woman. Let’s move on already. On a side note … thank god the red lip is gone.

Why just why?! She looks so youthful in lighter, more fuss-free clothes. Just recently, she was in a straight white suit with simple hair and just a smidgen of eyeliner. She looked so pretty. Her skin is poreless, her hair is great, why does she choose to wear clothes that don’t do anything for her (or for anyone, really)? I’ll take Aishwarya in a well fitted churidar with simple hair, a small bindi and eyeliner any day over this. She absolutely doesn’t need much.
The outfit is pretty but a little too blingy for the event I think but the color is really pretty. She looks nice. Most importantly…that lip color looks gorgeous on her…Yay!

This light blue one is similar to the outfit she wore at Melbourne for hoisting indian flag… lip color works well; just wish she had tied hair in a pony (anything other than this open-all-the time hair)
Good on nixing the red lip. She needs to change her hair, too. Cooler colors, less intense: less red, more ash.

She is so beautiful. I just wish she wouldn’t wear such heavy clothes ALL THE TIME. As others have pointed out, she looks so much better in simpler clothes with light makeup, just don’t understand the need for going over the top all the time!
Does anyone feel like her face looks stiffer – or is it the makeup?
The prettiest I have seen her look recently was at Sridevi’s condolence meet! She looks at least 10 years younger without all the make up!
