In Sabyasachi
The simple streak continues for Aishwarya who wore a beige Sabyasachi sari contrasting it with a green blouse. While, I don’t like the contrast blouse, it was still a much better look than Deepika’s bright red.

Really?? I love the combination of the blouse and the sari. Ash looks beautiful.
this screams..AUNTY!
Don’t know why you let comments like this through, its just so ignorant and rude and its hardly adding anything constructive to the discussion!
“Aunty” is such a misused word in India. What negative connotations! The English dictionary defines aunty as “father’s or mother’s sister or a female relative”.
Can we please leave this word alone? 🙁
if you think she is aunty…than what do you call ordinary ladies in their 30s????
@you are so right…aunty is a very respectable word for older ladies, its a shame that some people use it in a wrong way!!
I guess she’s obsessed with the orange hair. Very dedicated to it to keep dying the roots constantly the same awful fake looking color.
The hair ruins every single outfit she wears. It looks so bad!
Agreed… i was so happy that she wore something low key and beautiful!!! But then there is this story with the hair color… a sad story at that.
The WIG definaltely has to go.
Saree is ok, blouse ruined it.
The colors scream Christmas! Love the sari. Ash looks beautiful too.
the orange hair has to go…..please……enough already….
I think the camera flashes are to blame for the orange hair. Her dyed hair has a more brown tone, but looks orange if there are too many camera flashes.
isnt she going to see more on camera?? I would think of doing something camera friendly.
Lovely saree, nice combo with the blouse. Hair is again the same. She is looking different these days. She has been wearing the red bangle (the Bengali one) almost everyday. I love those.
i love those bangles too…and if i was married, i wld be wearing them every day too.. i think they can look good with western wear as well…
She looks lovely. Classy. She doesn’t even have to try. She just looks elegant and classy.
agree.
Just love it…I like contrast blouse too…
very pretty! Love the color combination.
why doesn’t anyone think her blouse is ill-fitting at the bottom? eeks!
Its formula by now. Boring and not even pretty. I think most people just ooh and aah because its sabyasachi. Its annoyingly same same.
I agree. I think Sabyasachi has a lot to offer but these ‘stars’ pick the same looks over and over again and now I’m just blase about another SM sighting. Ash is an example – she looks the exact same in Manish Malhotra or Sabyasachi.
PS – Someone needs to tell her that since she’s launched her entire career based solely on her face, and it really is a stunning face at that, she should really play it up by pulling her hair back. And dark hair will really make her eyes pop a la Megan Fox.
Is she delibrately trying show her in-law the sindoor, cause it looks like she emptied the whole jar?
You bet Bollywood stars ham it up in their ‘bahu’ roles once they get hitched. There’s nothing wrong with sporting the sindoor, it’s charming; but there’s no need to go overboard.
Ordinary saree. Her WIG is so not the right color.
HAHAHAHAHAHA
gorgeous! the blouse is what makes it special, otherwise it is a usual sabya saree.and what is so illfitting about this blouse. and it is definitely not a wig!
ash looks gorgeous. I do like the blouse and sari combo. only peeve those ugly-ass earrings…seen her wear them before as well. she shud lose em. besides that loving it 🙂
I think the blouse works very well with the saree, and she look lovely and understated.
*looks
I love Aish. when she dresses like this, she just looks at her best. I’m sure I’ve seen Vidya in an almost identical saree though, but its still a stunning saree and I love the blouse contrast and the jewelery shes wearing with it, she can really carry it off without appearing OTT.
She looks beautiful! The blouse is what makes the look unique..as to the rest who think she looks like an AUNTY, I’d love to see your pics!
No kidding! The green-eyed monster, I think…:)
Elegant, classy and graceful. The most beautiful. She has a sexy figure. To die for.
had a qn – when you wear net/transparent sarees like this – what is the standard for the petticoat? – in these pics, you can see the petticoat end – doesn’t look nice, or is that how it should be?
you generally would wear a petticoat that would accentuate the color of the netting so in this case she would wear that cream camel colored petticoat. I think the only reason you can see the petticoat is because the red carpet is lighted immensely..but for us average folk you shouldn’t be able to the netting in normal lighting.
Looks very similar to the saree she wore to Raavan’s music launch…..

rani wore same saree
She looks good and loved the contrast blouse.
Apart from that, Iam a regular viewer of this site and whenever Aishwarya is on this site , the number of comments are huge in number, so all I can say is, “love her or hate her but you just can’t ignore her” 🙂
for once i love the whole look…sari, contrast blouse, jewellery…all good !
i like the contrast! it adds interest. and i must say, she looks perfectly holidays-festive 🙂
She looks stunning…. saree is superb, timeless and elegant. the contrast blouse makes it interesting. An aunty would have worn a black, beige or red blouse. the jewellery simply perfect…the sindoor and bangles add a commoner’s touch…love it!! well done. (i blame the flash for the color of the hair…she should do something about that)
Ashwariya is at the end of her “season”….next!!
That blouse is probably one of the most ill fitted ones I’ve seen on this site. Am surprised no one’s mentioned it. Besides that she looks lovely but then what else is new.
she looks simple & nice, red colored earrings would have looked nice as the gold earrings are not adding any color to the peachy sari and may be a even a small red bindi would have added some nice color.
She looks good and love the contrast blouse…
Ok Ash take note. Abu Sandeep, Anamika, Pratima Gaurav are best for Indian. Manish and Neeta make you look SAD! As for Sabya, we’re getting a bit tired. Go for the first three. You are too gorgeous for any other mediocrity.
beauty.
