Wearing a salmon pink Sabyasachi suit, Aishwarya helped unveil an art installation at a park in Mumbai on Monday.

If your first reaction was “That’s A Sabya?“, you weren’t alone. We’ll have to add this one in the list of Not Quites.

  1. As usual, stunningly beautiful woman, exceedingly ugly clothes. If your clothes don’t look good even on Aishwarya Rai, then you’re struggling in life.

    • Hardly think Sabya is “struggling” lol. Sabya hasn’t been credited for this on any site and it’s not posted on his official so maybe it’s not even his! Certainly doesn’t look like from any of his collections., anyhow she still looks simple and pretty.

    • I think she looks like lovely. Not her usual blingy clothes. And if it is Mr. Sabyasachi’s creation, it is great that he created some thing that’s easy breezy and wearable. If you noticed, the lady looks the same in almost any designer’s outfit. I think it is the styling and her choice of outfits.

  2. Why a not quite ? I think she looks fabulous. Its a day event and given the heat in mumbai right now, i think the colour choice was apt plus the suit looks very comfortable and she looks refreshing.

  4. She looks lovely. Its a simple suit- without the usual show-sha that you see nowadays.
I think she looks fab. Summery, no frills, just a good ol’ kurta and churidar!

  6. That colour is lovely and Aish being Aish looks her lovely radiant self. BUT, those pants/bottoms are making me cringe. A fitted ones & this look would have been a winner! Must add, her hair colour looks luscious on her.

  7. It’s sadly very dated. The blush color is lovely but the pattern of the suit makes it very busy. Ash always reminds me of Deepika and vice versa. Both naturally stunning women with the best stylists and designers at their disposal but so off their sartorial game. DP at least experiments but Ash is often safe and boring.

  8. I am unable to understand why this was a “Not Quite”??? The way you’ve written it out, it sounds like you’re unable to believe this is a Sabyasachi outfit and therefore a “Not Quite”. Seriously??
It’s a beautiful, summery, fuss-free outfit and looks refreshing especially because it’s non-blingy. Hate to say it, but this kind of presumptuous dismissal is not why I, among many others, got hooked on to your blog.
On an aside, what’s going on with your copy-editing?? Such grammatical errors so frequently that I almost cringe while reading some of the content. I love your blog & have been following it almost ever since it was launched. However, you guys seriously need to look at some of the basic stuff which was always on point earlier. But “not quite” anymore.
