In Manish Arora Couture

Aishwarya was in Kuwait on Wednesday for a Longine event and for the evening event sported a Manish Arora Couture look. I didn’t mind the outfit on the runway and in a print ad, it would look great.

Unfortunately, wearing the red look in a desi way with the addition of the dupatta, the look just felt gaudy. Not a fan.

Check back later for better pics.

  1. Awful. Agree completely, it looks so gaudy. One of the biggest fashion mysteries why an international celebrity, one of the most beautiful women in the world , someone with every fashion resource at her feet would get it wrong so often.

  2. It’s Kuwait. It works for that. Yes, she could have gone for the runway version but considering it was an Arab country the duppatta was probably a must.

    • It’s not a “must” to wear a dupatta in Kuwait .. i live here so i know 🙂 ..
people can walk around in dresses and gown if they choose to ..
Yes its an Arab country … but quite a fashionable one 🙂

    • Kuwait women, specially the Arab ones, are in the top of the game when it comes to fashion. It’s absolutely not necessary to take that dupatta, or wear full sleeved dresses or full length dresses in this part of the world. She could have done better.

  4. Well the outfit is not my cup of tea, but the runway styling is at the very least, edgy. Ash manages to take it to the ‘gharelu bahu’ category.

  5. Whose wedding was it?
This woman can spend another 20 years dabbling in ‘fashion’ related industries, and still learn nothing about dressing for a formal event… Or any event for that matter.
i wont be surprized to find tan leather knee-length boots under that. Just because..
