Aditi walked the red carpet at Cannes on Thursday wearing a strapless ruffled gown from Michael Cinco paired with gold statement earrings. She kept the finishing touches fuss free and looked nice. But, just nice is what the appearance was. I would’ve preferred seeing her in the Oscar De La Renta that she wore to the photoshoot. She sure looked great in it.

  1. So true, the blue would have rocked the red carpet, nevertheless she looked great in both! One of the better outings after the disastrous gowns our Indian celebs wore

  2. Agreed. That blue is unique and would have made her stand out on the red carpet. She looks great in the yellow nevertheless.

  3. Both so lovely but I wish there was more innovation in the hair styling and make up. It’s a half great look. The make up looks like it’s worn out after end of day.

  4. both gowns go with her pretty girl-pretty clothes aesthetic. agree the de la renta is the more interesting gown, esp the tube part.

  5. All through these years, her eyebrows have remained the same. Anyone knows any specific reason why she prefers this shape? Overall, she is always elegant.

  6. Love both colors and I think yellow is more suitable for the red carpet- blue might have looked a bit crushed and one tad less formal than the yellow- though I do personally love the blue more on her!

One observation- are these heavily photoshopped images? Aditi does not need it. But I noticed in the second image in blue with her hand up, up armpit skin folds are so unnatural….

I point this out – coz it’s concerning that if even beautiful skinny young women get photoshopped, then obviously the older and not so skinny lot would need to cover themselves in a foil wrap… and all this is setting crazy standards of beauty! It would be so awesome to see celebs starting a trend to own their bodies and faces and wrinkles and saying NO to all things fake. It would solve a lot of mental health problems amongst women in fashion/ entertainment and also society… #justsaying
