In Jayanti Reddy
Wearing a Jayanti Reddy lehenga, Aditi attended Priyanka and Nick’s reception on Thursday evening. Hair in a sleek middle-parted bun, her look was finished out with heavy jhumkis.
I don’t know about you, but I sure was glad to see her opt for something not only very different but also a designer that was not part of the same list that we’ve been seeing at just about every reception till date.

She looks very good, but has she not worn something like this a million times before ? 🙂
She looks beautiful. The outfit is not bad but not something I would gravitate towards
Beautiful. But looks incomplete without a dupatta.
Yes exactly. Definitely needs a dupatta.
She looks great but the skirt seems just so ‘regular’. We can find skirts with such wavy embroidery in our next-door shops .
This looks halfway good mainly because the top is not too bad.
Mystified by tiny lehenga tops. People don’t know how to design cholis anymore all look like bra cuts.
I think the blouse here is perfectly fine, not one of those bralettes. However a dupatta was certainly required to tie the look together.
This look has been done to death by Aditi.
She’s the prettiest.
Looks like the wedding season has come to an end. For now. Just to recap, several opportunities lost to bring forth/support our weaves and weavers. A country of rich, vibrant, beautiful, varied textiles, shame that not many were displayed. Shame. It would have been a huge tremendous support to our weavers who live in absolute poverty. What is wrong if you wear a pochampally, kanjivaram, Benares, assam silk, Mysore silk, or a sico or any simple yet beautiful cotton saree to the wedding, reception or any festivities. Nonsense is what they wore. Sorry for the rant, but some justice they could have done to their celebrity tag. Responsibility is what’s missing.
Maybe then the celebrities would have to pay for their clothes . Maybe that is a deterrent ?
Maybe. Priyanka could have worn an Assamese silk saree, she would get it for free probably… she is some ambassador for the state. Expecting too much perhaps
Ikr… But apparently she charges 5 crores a year just to be the face as an ambassador. And we are yet to see something constructive from her end. So far I have only seen her once in Assamese silk, for anushkas reception from all these years post Mary Kom’s release… Namesake! FFS!!!
Errr….Mary Kom is from Manipur, not Assam
Hahahahahah
This a 1000 times. I love what Aditi’s wearing, here, but I wish at least a few celebrities had worn a traditional weave. It’s an irony that in the Age of Indian (Bollywood) Celebrity most of India’s weavers and craftspeople are living in poverty, and even worse that these skills, in the absence of support & money, they need cannot be nurtured and transmitted.
facepalming about all the misplaced commas; sorry!
Simple and elegant in the midst of all those blingy outfits! You don’t have to wear always those heavy embroidery, mirror or ornate work ones. This looks like something we can all wear but still stand out. Aditi has done similar look similar pose umpteen no of times. But she looks good nevertheless
