It was a Basil Soda gown for Ms. Hydari at the Vogue Beauty Awards.
Given the gown and its styling, it’s easy to imagine a mystical sea creature might have been the inspiration. But hate to say it, it (the look) tanked. I blame the hair, which to me threw off the proportions. Priyanka blames the dress itself. Either way, it didn’t make it to the shoreline.

Honestly I don’t even recognize her as Aditi anymore. What is going on with the makeup? Please scrub it off and reveal the real you.
I think it’s visually very interesting and she makes it work!

Usually ARH can’t do anything wrong in my book, but oh lord, this look is bad on so many different levels! The hair, the makeup, the squished boobs, the strange tentacle print at her crotch…I can’t find anything to like no matter how hard I try! 🙁
She looks like a creature alright, I am not sure its a mystical one, more like a mirth inducing one.. Those eyebrows and that pale watered make up.. i guess its ghastly

I actually like this, it is an interesting gown with a decent cut. The bohemian hair suits the gown. Minor objection to the white tentacles emerging from *blank*.

If this isnt a WTHeyyyy, i dont know what it is!! Ghostly make up, odd hair.. weird white tentacle above a phallic looking design near the lady parts… dear lord, why?!?! why would such a lovely lady accede to such nonsense in the name of high fashion?

What is going on with Aditi – she was the epitome of grace most of the times on hte red carpet. This is just a no … and she needs to fire her make up artist.
I actually like the gown (except the white part in front & back) – its interesting in a sea of overdone princessy glittery stuff. The hair would have worked too, IF the makeup had been better. The nude to the point of ghostly make up spoiled the entire ensemble
I actually like the gown, it kind of gives me Cleopatra vibes, though I have to admit reading the comment about tentacles coming out from the crotch did make cringe (LOL). The make up is ghastly. But I still fail to see how you two recognize this as horrid and praise Aishwarya’s Ursula Halloweeney look
I like . Nothing Wth about this . Such an interesting gown and the use of colours . Although I agree the hair is bad ….. brings the look down several notches
The hair, the makeup, the awful bust fit, the tentacles – all of these = a very bad no-good day.
I hate to say this too , but this is one of Aditi’s rare misses who gets everything on point usually . Don’t know what she was thinking .!!
