Sari Style
Aditi attended the store opening wearing a linen jamdani sari from the store. I don’t quite like the wearing of the big earrings and the choker together but it’s a minor gripe. She still looked lovely in the sari.

She looks beautiful and contrary to what the blogger writes, her choker and earrings absolutely work. I does help that the jewelry is not matchy matchy part of a set. Well done Aditi !
Aditi looks flawless. Loved the earrings and choker, it goes well with her sari. Beautiful !
Love her bangles
She looks nice, but I wish she’d done something better with her hair. Maybe a soft, wispy updo. That middle part is such a downer. And the blouse would have looked better if it had longer sleeves – any length except the vest strap kind she has on.
Her look kinda reminds me of spice markets in Arab countries – in a good way. It’s hard to come by such lovely, earthy colours, and see them be paired with equally wonderful colours. Carrying a saree with finesse is not enough, I feel. Or the priority. One needs to have the good sense to pair the right blouse with it, first. And this is a much crucial choice than the style in which it is draped. (However, the classic drape is timeless and the best out of them all.)
Choker looks beautiful on her slender neck but yes, it is clashing with big earrings.
She looks fantastic. I am not a jewelry person and never wear sets but this doesn’t look over kill to me. I think she wears the look very well.
for all the $$$ good linen costs, I find linen a very casual fabric. it gets crushed easily and it’s best as daywear, in a lighter palette. given all that, i find the jewellery overkill. I’d have gone with the earrings and maybe a single bracelet.
if i had to dress it up, I mean!
I love linen, especially in hot weather. Its such a beautiful, natural fabric. But agree that it can look casual, as it tends to crease so easily.
Yes, this x100. Linen is comfy and looks earthy…but hard to count as formal. I’m sure the fancier linen sarees have some mix in them to hold up the heavy borders. Is that true? Otherwise how do the newer festive Anavila sarees hold up?
Entire look is lovely and she looks very graceful.
