  1. Stunning is the word! What a regal collection. I absolutely love top row – blue, and Sonam’s lengha. I wonder if the men’s outfits need to shortened for an off-the-ramp look.

  3. amazing collection and i love the lehenga and the jewelry on Sonam…BUT that choli is a bit bothersome…it’s so tiny that (to put it crudely) I can’t see where the boobs go. It makes me think of the cholis on little girls’ lehengas
Sonam definitely has curves but it looks squished under this choli. wish they had tailored it to be right for her body and it would have been a great look

  4. I dearly love Sonam and her fashion but here she looks weird, first of all the lahenga and choli looks like it wasn’t just made for her and she was the last minute replacement for someone. The choli is so tight, short and God where are her boobs! Also the lahenga design is nice but near her waist it again looks too tight.

  5. Finally! A collection which is not an eye sore and refrained me from wondering – ‘where have all the designers gone!’ great colors, class, finesse and fabric!

    • True that!Thank god someone said it.. I was wondering I was the only one getting that kamasutra-ish vibe.. especially from the choli…. everything’s just too tight on Sonam!!

  6. The lehnga is pretty but as someone who claims to have a hegemony on fashion, she should know that if she is pour out of the top of the lehnga, it’s probably better to go one size higher. Major muff in top – which is such a turn-off. She needs to hit the gym.

Love the sherwani(?) in black, tho. It looks so regal. Helps that he is easy on the eyes.

    • Agreed so much for being a “fashionista” .Even if she doesn’t want to hit the gym that’s alright but not to show up in THAT! The last row is just ewww.

  7. 3rd design in the first row is so gorgeous. I think this is the best collection I’ve seen so far. Absolutely regal and to die for! @Rina well I’m glad Sonam embraces her body and isn’t embarrassed to flaunt it to the world. I take her anytime compared to the ‘factory manufactured body’ celebs we have. Boo to size 0 ๐Ÿ˜‰

  9. A good collection marred by he horrible fitting on Sonam. In the bottom pic her waist spills out and the cholI just a little girl’s choli.
    Poor Sonam. She deserved better

  10. OMG the collection is amazing! Sonam needs to work out, her tummy and arms look too flabby for that much skin show, especially in the last pics. . Not flattering on her at all.

  11. Besides the many problems mentioned regarding Sonam’s outfit, it seems like the bottom is a sharara or a divided lehnga which is a bit too tight down there. Expect such fitting issues with newbies not established designers like Rohit Bal etc.

  12. Love that Sonam doesnt have the cookie cutter celeb body but on my wedding day I’d definitely choose a style that takes care of the problem areas, not accentuate them..that lehenga is exquisite but would’ve looked so much better with the dupatta covering a bit of her midriff!

  13. Love the collection!
Agree with the views on Sonam’s choli. Its too tight and small. About the lehenga, I think it might be really heavy and so they tied it tightly so as to keep it secure and maybe that’s why the spilage.

  14. Stunning collection!!! Very regal…and keeping in mind the opulence of Indian weddings and combining it with the avant-garde nature of the Elizabethan Era! LOVE it!

  15. Rohit Bal is Rohit Bal – one can clearly see the difference in level of this collection when compared to the others in the Fashion Week.

  16. what yaar? these people who are commenting about Sonam being flabby and need to hit the gym, i want to ask them one question, are they gym trainers or do they have some other vested interests? Why this fixation for size 0?
Rant apart, her choli is a size too small but rest of the pieces are perfection, magnificence and what not.

  17. This collection is stunning. I am in awe! So elegant.

Sonam has such a nice figure, so it’s unfortunate to see her in something so ill-fitting.
