Ikat Summer

If you’ve been following our blog, you know by now that we love Ikat (see here, here, here and here).

It’s just one of those fabrics that never goes out of style and what can I say, we are suckers for ~~the print~~ Ikat (both the traditional weave as well as in it’s mimicked digital print form) . Whether it be on clothing, on upholstery or on tableware, we love it. 🙂

Ms. Saran has been taking great strides and all in the (almost) right direction. Considering how far she has come (from jewel-tone dresses and odd-fitting minis), we’re gonna give her a pass for that unsightly bra-strap because other than that, she looks quite lovely.

P.S. Is it just us who find a shoulder bag being carried as a top handle/tote weird?

From Photoshoot To Real Life

I loved this dress in the photoshoot on Shilpa only because the mustard/gold against the white stood out as did the hair. It made for a good picture. In real life though, I wouldn’t ever be drawn to this dress as I can’t see that color working and seeing Shriya just reaffirms it.
