Shimmer and Shine?

Shimmering in the night were these ladies in their sequin dresses but did they all shine?
This was a toughie because as much as I loved Gul’s pale sequin dress, I didn’t quite think the dress fit her right. Shruti went for an edgy look with her strapless dress and ankle boots but the hair was off. In the end, Hard was my favorite in her gold dress and pumps.

In Spendthrift

Of the many Spendthrift dresses we’ve seen, this one I am taking a liking to perhaps because of the presence of exposed zips and the lack of overwhelming prints. As for Ms. Desai, I wish she had worn her hair differently. The half-pulled back hair is just so meh.

Sagarika In Babita Malkani

Sagarika Ghatge wore a Babita M scarf dress from the designer’s latest collection but with the dress being too long on her and having Vidya close by with her busy print outfit (and stepping on Sagarika’s dress), it was hard to really get a good feel of the dress on her.

P.S. I suspect Vidya is also wearing a Babita M but still need to confirm.

Not So Well Suited

Earlier in the day, Mr. Oberoi tweeted about how he loves dressing up and ‘fashion is fun‘, except it is no fun continuously seeing him fail. In his attempt to try color, Mr. Oberoi forgot color coordination and while we don’t think the green jacket look was salvageable, the purple look could have worked if he had worn it with a black tee and denims. Perhaps, next time he’ll get it right and we’ll have some fun leaving positive feedback. 😉
