Spotted Shilpa Shetty at the Louis Vuitton Fall 08 show!! Its the Paris Fashion Week and she was front row!!

While its normal for front-row attendees to wear or carry something from the designer whose show they are attending…I just have to fault Shilpa’s stole! Is the monogrammed shawl the best she could do? Really?

Also, check her arm candy out… She is carrying the LV Joke Bag (thats what it is called!)! The bag has jokes by Henny Youngman and the logo is designed by artist Richard Prince, who is known for his Jokes series work pertaining to sexual frustrations and middle-class American mentality. And so the bag has quite a bit of sexist jokes on it and is called ‘The Joke Bag’! Made the connection?

You might scoff at her ‘Big Brother’ tide of fame but look where it got her and hey if she is front-row at Paris Fashion Week, she gets top billing from us! It might be Kareena who wants to be like Victoria Beckham but look who has an ‘in’ with Marc Jacobs!! Let the claws come out!

Red Or Black?

While, a bunch of you didn’t like Deepika’s Gauri and Nainika gown, look who we found that liked the same dress and chose to wear it in red.

The lady in question is Tanya Sharma, who is about to marry Sabeer Bhatia. Remember him? (Here is a hint: Hotmail!)

While, the pic is not clear, I am sure Tanya’s was as good as Deepika’s. Just wished she hadn’t worn the black ribbon around her waist. Just puts such an immature feel onto this really mature outfit! I know, a lot of you didn’t like it, but I really loved this gown! 😉

No, we aren’t really doing a feature on some out of work Vegas showgirls.

In fact, if you still didnt recognize the ladies above, they are, Serena & Venus Williams and Jelena Jankovic! The ladies can kick your ass on the tennis court, but wearing a sari is definitely not their forte and we don’t expect it to be!

But, for the sponsors to dress them up in cheap velvet blouses and the lowest end quality of mysore silk is just sad! Tsk Tsk.

For next time, we hope they take some hints from Anna Kournikova below and make some demands before slipping into such shoddy stuff!
