In Twos
Promotions in Amritsar saw Deepika in two looks. During the day, she wore a burgundy patterned shirt and floral skirt, both from Patine. Paired with Ritika Sachdeva earrings and a Topshop belt, her look was finished out with a part braided do.
In the evening, she attended the Mirchi Music Awards wearing a Varun Bahl lehenga from the couture collection. Here she wore her hair up in an updo with jhumkis from Curio Cottage.
As much as I love the color of the Patine look, I wasn’t a fan of the shirt. No complaints about the lehenga look. She looked amazing there.

I saw her in person wearing the Varun Bahl lehenga at the Delhi airport (midnight) yesterday – and boy she looked like a goddess! What she looks like in these pictures or onscreen in general is not a patch on what she looks like in real life! i was more awestruck than being starstruck!
Lucky you!
Awesome!!!!
Lucky lucky! I believe you
I can only imagine. Boy if I were a man, I’d be thanking the powers that be, for being born in the same time as her 😛
The only other person who exudes such grace and poise on and off screen would be Hema Malini.
Loved both looks! She looks gorgeous. The patine outfit is something I would have worn in a heartbeat if I was tall like her.
Wow! Finally a princess being dressed liked one. Love both looks. The colours, the hair, the makeup. This is THE goddess.
She looks gorgeous in both outfits. Loved the earrings in her Patine look. As for the Varun Bahl – she looks like a goddess.
Those outfits do nothing for her. She looks amazing only neck up with that stunning face and good hair/make-up. Extremely put off by the choice of her outfits.
She is breathtaking.
She is looking amazing in both looks! I love it
I don’t like these two outfits, however, Deepika is very beautiful and she can carry anything off.
Celebrities choose outfits based partly on how much they get paid ( by the designer) to wear them. That is the cynical, honest to goodness truth of the matter.
Neck up lovely…Neck down the less said the better. The lehenga look is better though.
Love the lehenga. She looks very pretty. The second look is good too. So they are bringing back the old tradition-trend of wearing shirts over skirts in the rural areas. 🙂
She looks like a dream in the lehenga… How beautiful is that third picture !!
