On An Aside

It’s no secret that celebrity weddings have become huge these days. But, Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey managed to keep the reins in their hands and media couldn’t crash this party that happened on September 3rd when the couple got married in an intimate ceremony. Ranvir looked handsome in a white sherwani while Konkona looked oh-so-beautiful in a cream silk sari and her grandmother’s jewellery.

We wish the couple the very best!

Aishwarya on Condé Nast Traveller India:(Un)Covered

On one cover, she is the subject while Paris is in the background. Not so with the inaugural issue of Condé Nast Traveller India, where Paris is the subject and if you didn’t look closely enough, you’d probably miss that it was Aishwarya with the bike.

And just because it is a travel magazine, doesn’t mean Aishwarya didn’t get to wear the best clothes. On the cover, it was a Fall 2010 Louis Vuitton dress and inside it is Dolce & Gabbana, Diorand Chanel. Check out the video to see more of the spread inside.

P.S. The polka dot one is the Dolce, the white a Dior and the black with the colored stripes is Chanel.

In Black

It was black for both the ladies tonight at the Bharat Dorris awards with Malaika wearing a French Connection Wendy dress and Preity a faux wrap bow dress. Both also chose to contrast their black dresses with white, Malaika by way of pumps and Preity by way of a clutch.

We’ve got to give it to Preity. She was just glowing and had an edge over Malaika who looked worn out and the creased dress didn’t do her any favors either. Who was your favorite?

Not Quite

Oh Antara, a statement necklace (Gaurav Gupta) does not make a regular jersey dress work for a formal event. It helps sure, but not enough. And the foot-wear unfortunately negates what little it does.

Waist-up, she looks good. We like!
