Love her post. Could totally relate.I have lost 24 kilos of weight over a period of 1.5 years but I did this only for myself. Weight loss & the desire to look good is such a personal thing . Some people are very conscious, some just dont care & that is OK!
People should never be judged about it, ever.

    Kudos yo you, Zareen!

very true.. and weight loss is anyway related to feeling good more than looking good.
and that’s as personal as it gets.
People can feel great in any size, and it’s nobody’s business.

I thought that was an extremely brave post. Often times we forget that there’s a human behind the outward appearance and that each person carries a story, a journey of sorts with them. Of course fashion critiquing is to critique the aesthetics of clothes, accessories, and style and not the person but sometimes it’s easy to dehumanise the subject and realise that for a lot many it’s difficult to make an appearance every single day of their lives and do it with a smile. We often cross the thin line and criticise someones body type and personality. Zarine if you’re reading this- more power to you, your story is inspirational. “Along with the weight loss came a lot of stretch marks bt instead of feeling ashamed of it and trying to hide it , I believe in flaunting it . It makes me feel like a tigress with her stripes.”—Brilliant words, keep at it!

Seeing Archana Kochhar I thought oh my gosh another disaster gonna unleash but thanks heavens it is one of her better designs pheww!! Though the polka dotted skirt still does not look good with the lace top.

Beautiful! And thank you P & P for directing us to that post. It is so inspirational to many girls and sends a strong message against body shaming. She has such a powerful platform and I’m so proud of the way she is using it. What a legend – and a gorgeous one at all sizes!
