We Are Hiring!

We are looking for an intern, we are looking for you!

Most of you know, this blog start to finish is a two-woman operation. Which means there’s more on our plate than we can handle and are looking for an intern who can help us with our social media (Instagram and Facebook) pages and Menswear coverage on the blog. It also means, as an intern you are joining a close-knit operation and right at the cusp of many exciting changes to come.

If you have a passion for fashion, are not afraid to speak your mind, have high-speed internet and love wine, we may just have a seat at the table for you!

See the picture below? To apply for the position, email us your reviews, your take on their style. Write as you would on the blog, four men, four individual posts, four brief write-ups.

Also, include a brief introduction about yourself, no more than 200 words. More creative, the better.

Please note, you will be working from your home (or whichever coffee shop will have you). You will only be covering Men’s fashion. And the position is a six-month unpaid internship with the possibility of it converting in to a full/part-time hire.

Email us at- highheel(dot)confidential(at)gmail(dot)com
In the subject title of the email, do mention “Intern Position”.

Good luck!

  1. The intern position sounds like fun, and it would be a treat working with you two: I have been a fan of this blog since it began. I am sure dozens of lovely women around the world are getting ready to put pen to paper and try and win it 🙂 Wish I had the time and the knowledge on menswear for this!! However, 6 whole months, unpaid? Even Anna Wintour would not do that: she would at least buy the lattes. It just seems a little odd, especially when you guys are obviously doing well enough to need an intern, etc etc….Just my thoughts.

    • This is not a strict 40 hour per week job. Blogging can happen any time and anywhere. We expect couple of posts per day, and that for us takes about 2 to 3 hours and we ourselves cover a whole lot more!

    • It depends on the person. We expect a few posts per day covering men. It shouldn’t take more than 1 or 2 hours given that these days, stylists send you the details and you will be provided images.

    • Let’s say we expect 2-3 menswear blog posts per day. That can take one person an hour and another person a whole lot more. It’s very subjective.

  2. You know I appreciate writing being a fellow creative do love the content writing and the web being able to bring about all forms on the table. Having said that I am also a supporter of minimum wages even if it’s in form of a stipend, not only does it allow a small monetary gain but it coverts passion into a drive to do better and take it up/showcase the possiblity of becoming a career of choice. I can’t enforce the same thinking but would request you to consider throwing in a bit more for young minds who can inturn don’t get frustrated and continue with a drive to accomplish and gain. Think over it! Keep up the blogging!

    • While I value your viewpoint, I think the best way to show passion is to do something without considering the monitory gains. Once the intern proves their passion and worth, then they can discuss plans to grow.
Also, Bloggers work very hard to get to a point where they start earning. A paid job might just not give the intern a true blogger experience. Just saying.

  3. Hi P&P: I submitted a response but not sure if there would be a reply regardless of decision. Is it safe to assume that if we haven’t heard from you ladies yet, someone else was chosen? I feel like a bachelorette contestant waiting for that rose! 🙂
