Gautami and may shveta are the only one that look nice in the designer numbers.
as for gauri.. the Hermes dress looks better on the model.. may be the color .. i love it on the model
as for reshmi.. he face looks soo blah.. and the dress color again.. not complimenting her
and what’s with same hair style on all of them. i would have like gauri in straight hair with this dress like on model
I cringe whenever I look at this…
Not only do the TV stars look like fake models but the fake designer wears are not helping them either….a monumental disaster!!!

Does DnG do the modification, or do Indian designers rip off the original? If it is the latter, don’t they face any problems if they do it so blatantly?

The original designers will retail a modified version of what is seen on the runway. For e.g. not everyone will buy a gown version but more people will buy a dress because you can wear it more…
is gauri very petite? the dress looks so much nicer on the runway model… the length is all wrong on gauri.
the D&G, Hermes & Burberry runway dresses look much richer in color & texture than the ones worn by the vogue cover models. is it just poor lighting for the vogue cover shoot or the dresses a copy of the originals?
the burberry dress stands out.. but only on the model.. i think the model counterparts are looking better except for gautami
Gautami prolly looks the best , even her matchy matchy shoes somehow work.
Reshmi ghosh is a former miss india and quite attractive , the pale blue is not doing her any good , and the shoes look so blah .
And they managed to make one of tv’s prettiest ladies gauri look bad , nothing is working.
Swetha salve somehow looks ok coz of her amazing body .
I agree with Surbhi…the models pull the looks off much better
i think its maybe the hues all put together look tacky - imagine the same cover with the models sporting diff hairstyles, all in black couture, and a well-lighted dark background.. orperhaps even the exact same clothes with a dark background… itsnot the ladies that are to blame, but the stylists who put this together.
Both Gautami and Gauri are former miss india contestants..were amongst the top 25-30 girls selected.
Gauri is looking weird due to hair extensions. I had met her a few days ago..her hair is short and straight.
All the dresses look like bad imitations of the originals…weird.
gauri is such a pretty gal, but she seems a disaster here. i think salve pulls off the dress due to her great body
me thinks the same…they look like knock offs.
The stylist should be fired pronto!! It’s Vogue for Gawd’s sake, they can NOT treat it like any other fashion mag out there!!
gauri is so pretty, wht’s up with her hair…should have kept her natural mane…its beautiful=)
