    Parineeta deja vu.

The Bengal way of sari wearing should be seen more.

She’s a gorgeous woman and all that jewelry is appropriate for a jewelry launch.

    She looks radiant and gorgeous!
    Her makeup here is flawless.

She is rocking this drape. I like the second pic more where her she is wearing only one gold cuff. All that bling is making me dizzy.

She looks so much better in this. But why should traditional be this gaudy? I don’t think anyone dresses like this unless it’s a wedding or a festival. For a store launch this is excessive.

Such a beauty! If only she dressed this way more often

Luminous is the word! Love everything about this look including all the jewellery pieces- even being worn all at once they work and work really well. Doesn’t look the least bit blingtastic and that in itself is quite an accomplishment .Whoever coordinated all these ornaments together so tastefully deserves credit.
The sari colors complement her skin tone beautifully. The bindi looks great (PC please take note- this is where it is meant to be worn) as does the makeup and drape of the garment.

Wow. This is a ordinary, commonly worn bengali saree. No doubt , pretty. But she makes it look “designer” and expensive. Love that she wore it with a proper blouse and didnt screw it up like others in bollywood might have.

There is nothing ordinary about the exquisite weaves of traditional Indian handloom saris. Its the designer saris I find lacking in aesthetics. And by the way cotton dhakai sarees can retail at between 10-30000 Rs.

Yeah. She looks radiant! The jewelry is lust worthy and the colour works great on her. However, I am not able to understand the ‘designer part’ of this saree. You can find a similar saree for re.1500-2500 (at times even cheaper) at any shop in Cal so what is designer about it?
