Giving the Sabyasachi saris a break was Vidya but she didn’t veer too far off the course by going for an anarkali instead. Minus the odd blue patchwork on the shoulder, I simply love this anarkali.

Hate those peep-toe clogs though.

  1. What could have been an instant love anarkali turned into what-the-hell due to the blue patch. I don’t mind mixing fabrics and colours, but this looks as if Sabya had some extra patches and just put them in. A blue dupatta would have been better as well.

  2. such a mish mash of different things happening.. and she should fire her make-up artist for making her face look a total different shade from the rest of her body..lol!

  3. Noo..:( it’s a disaster for me. Can’t stand to see that ghastly red and white pattern. The whole thing looks drab and confusing with a bad mix of colors. Sorry Vidya. You have disappointed again with your choice. On a different note, looking fwd to seeing NOKJ.

  4. she looks like those patch rag dolls i used to make as a child. i would find whatever patches of fabric i could around the house and stich frocks for my dolls.
