  1. Rupal says:

there’s something wrong with the smile…. forced… may be… not her natural smile.

    • FashionPolice says:

No, she’s trying to smile with arched-eyebrows, by lifting one and letting the other remain grounded!!
Aishwarya Rai too smiles with arched eyebrows. But her eyebrows are naturally shaped like that, whereas Vidya has symmetrical eyebrows, hence the weird smile effect, which is looking pompous and annoying on her!

  2. Shuchi says:

She looks nice, and it’s a lovely color. But something is a bit off, her posture perhaps. I’m not liking the hair much either.

  3. Clueless says:

Love the colour… but the hair somehow reminds me of a poodle :S

  4. Fashionluvver says:

Ooh, Vidya looks gorgeous! Fabulous sari, and smile!

  5. Saya says:

REALLY? That hair is a disgusting mess. Is that even real hair, looks like a toupe. Save the color i hate the design and hate it even more on VB.

  6. swati shetty says:

did not like, hair open with the neck so high etc. is too much happening. love the look on the model with the shade of red saree.

  7. jyoti says:

Nope, don’t like her hair & makeup

  8. kitschy gal says:

there is something terribly wrong with her hair!! it looks rather odd… i cant look beyond it :O

  9. Geeta says:

Her face’s been so tampered with..it looks strange. One thing she’s got is a pretty face and it doesn’t really come through here. And the hair’s not great either. But whatever, looks decent enough.

  10. Anush says:

Something’s wrong with the hair… and looks almost uncomfortable!

  11. Anush says:

    I meant – she looks uncomfy…

  12. dn says:

Huh, nice? It doesn’t even look like her. Seems like they aged her 20 years to match the title (as if younger women can’t represent good housekeeping well????). Nice colour, but thats it.

  13. Meg says:

She doesnot look all that good. Could be her pose and her hair

  14. OMG!!! says:

    OMG!!!! vidya looks mentally retarded!!!!
and helooooooooooooo wats up with the eyebrow…????
good housekeeping???? more like good diaster photoshoot!

  15. ruchi says:

saree reminds me of genelia who sported one in red.

  16. _*Dia*_ says:

she looks fresh and beautiful! but theres too much text on the cover…..they should make the covers less wordy. other than that….i’m loving the purple!

  17. April says:

The pose looked awkward,as if she is sitting uncomfortably on a bar stool.Would have loved to see her stand or atleast sit on a sofa.

    Love her face though.

  18. Anita says:

hair is too dark and saree is too dark – and not enough accessories to make the whole look youthful- i actually do not like this cover.

  19. Archana Vijay says:

SOmething’s off abt her face. Looks almost masculine. Or is it the pose?

  20. sdn says:

OMG – easy on the comments please.
The color is the only thing working here. Agree with the others on the hair. Methinks Shilpa Shetty would have beautifully pulled this off.

  21. SS says:

Something wrong with her face..maybe the eyebrows? I love her smile though…but eyes upward..something wrong….

  22. PJ says:

    ugly sarees.. ugly cover

  23. Sharin says:

I agree there’s something odd about this picture. She looks unnatural and awkward and almost un Earth like. The colour looks great on her but I’m not liking this at all.. she’s MUCH prettier than this cover lets on… her hair definitely doesn’t look real, they must have retouched it and made it toooo shiny.

  24. nita says:

color’s real pretty. that’s the only nice thing about the picture. hair needs to be worked on … it does NOT go with the high-neck blouse. either that or she should’ve worn the same blouse as the model in red sari. also, vidya looks miserably uncomfortable. pity that she’s such a pretty girl but it rarely comes across in photo shoots.

  25. MANGOgrl says:

    CONSTIPATED LOOK and POSE.. LOL

  26. naka says:

Hair and makeup are terrible, pose and angle of shot very unflattering, sari is nothing special (though the color is nice). She looks really bad…and she’s really not bad-looking. :(

  27. ena says:

The colour is lovely but the hair makes her look a bit mumsy…

  28. josie says:

like the sari on the model butnot on vidya…its just don’t look right..mayb it hair but i hate her eyebrow…looks really bad and i hate purple sari and this just proves why

  29. sheldon says:

i love the blouse.. looked better in sheer natural color though .. even the pleating on the red saaree is beautiful,, gaurav gupta makes beautiful saarees ,, although vidya looks nice but i think a better pose would have helped..
