Screening Style

Taking a break from her saris, Vidya gave us bit of a change as she attended the recent screening of a movie. Minus the bit of a discordant note the dupatta seems to strike, I like this look on her.

  1. Not the best she could’ve done but wow, all of a sudden she looks young and fresh. It’s so odd to not see her in a sari now but she looks like a completely different person.

    • I don’t think there will be any surprises there. She’ll be in a Sabyasachi saree, a bun, Indian jewellery, a bindi. The only way she can amaze us is if she carried all that with the grace it deserves and not drape it all sloppily like she usually does.

  2. So pretty she looks- like she chopped off a few years! Best of all, love the way they are holding hands..does more for her radiance than even her clothes:)

  3. the wide bottoms make her look shorter and stockier than she is. It is an outfit for a tall sillhouette. Definite improvement over the saris though!

  4. Oh c’mon ! This is hardly a ‘look’ . It’s a ‘nothing’ ! It’s what everyone wears , a simple printed shalwar kameez. And she couldn’t even get that right . The bottoms r ill fitted and the dupatta doesn’t match .

  5. She looks like she’s having fun and doesn’t care about what the world thinks of her style (or the lack of it). That ups the look!

  6. She makes a great mother… She s a nightmare for her dressing sense….. Sabyasachi will cover her with his usual blankets at the Cannes at call it “Indian wear” at its best….. Seriously this is a JOKE.

  7. So unfashionable and dated. I’m guessing she’s featured on the blog (frequently, at that) only because she has an “individual” style.
