In Anand Kabra

Vidya visited the Nach Baliye sets for promtions of Shaadi Ke Side Effects wearing a cobalt blue Anand Kabra maxi, a printed version of which we just saw on Nimrat at the Filmfare nominations bash.

This look had potential but it went wrong at two places. The curly hair really weighed the look down and the twins needed better support.

    • @! second that, wholeheartedly! Of her breasts, I think she has a rather perky pair (not that she has anything to be embarassed about even if otherwise). The gown falls on her snugly and she looks comfy in it. This is her kind of her hairstyle and she should sport it more often.
As far as I can tell, it’s all good in the ‘hood.

  1. Twins need better support! I was told the perfect position is the nips should be half way between shoulder and elbow….oops Vidya is a few centimeters off! You guys are need to cut this woman some slack. The girls are appropriately positioned and defying gravity too. There is a visible waistline, might I add. Yes, the hair could be better styled…but it’s healthy and shiny, compared to some fried, overprocessed we’ve seen. If there was any thing I could change, it would have been the the length if the sleeves. Otherwise she looks fine.

  2. Ha ha! The same gown looks so good and classy on Nimrat while on her it looks so tacky/trashy . The boob show is plain yuck. She should get out of that Dirty Picture hangover.

  3. I think she looks great! Also we need to appreciate her for changing things up and trying some thing different. It is so refreshing to see her in something other than saree.
The fact that we are nitpicking on hair and inner wear says a lot about how this fashion critique business has become! Let us try to ignore the small things and focus on how great and comfortable she looks!

  5. This maxi overwhelms and ages her. I like the fact that we can see a waist, but would pull back her hair (so we can see more of her shoulders), shorten the sleeves, and add a thin belt to give this a more modern feel.

  6. Vidya looks fabulous, in my opinion. The colour is vibrant, her personality is dazzling, she looks happy.. what more does she need? Nimrat’s gown was nice, but didn’t really suit her. Here, the colour is doing all the heavy lifting.

  7. hey!!! I really like this look on her!!!! she looks wonderfully radiant … she rocks her curvaceous body and is one of the few actresses to have a figure similar to the majority of indian women out there… please cut her some slack…

  8. Hate the the cleavage ! I think it ages her automatically. And for the Indian environment i find it highly inappropriate. She doesnt have to do this to show that she is daring or bold. She did that very well by looking gorgeous in conservative sarees.

  9. I think she looks great and different in a nice way.

    P & P, Twins?! Seriously?!!

The colour works gorgeously on her skin and guess that hair is part of her movie look. She does look comfortable and fabulous.
