  2. Most female actors ((and Vivek Oberoi)) have been sporting long tresses. Is it the new ‘in’ thing in b’wood, Payal and Priyanka?

  3. Sunshine,
It ain’t in as such.. The women mostly keep long hair so that styling in the movie becomes easier and sometimes they do so for a movie role.. But, they prefer to keep it long so that they won’t have to wear wigs.. Bipasha chopped her hair recently and wears extensions.. Rani cut her hair for a role in Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic.. Priyanka cut it and colored it red for Love Story..

Vivek has the long hair because of his role in Mission Istanbul..Hopefully he chops it soon! He looks better with short..

  4. Thanks Payal, Gotcha!
And Priyanka Chopra had to chop it off too apparently since the red color damaged her hair a tad too much!

  5. I dunno, I think she has gorgeous hair 😛

I think it’s all part of this desi ‘ideal’ that women are supposed to have… classic beauty. Long hair, big kohl-filled eyes, full lips, curvy-ish figures.

I dunno, that’s my theory. Look at all the heroines of old!

  6. She really needs to style it differently even if she prefers wearing it long. The other thing that hasnt changed about Urmila over the years is her figure. Amazing how great a figure she has even after all these years!

  7. The dress on the model looks good but I’m not liking the version on Urmila…perhaps because of the harsh lights/flash – it makes the material of the dress look cheap/plasticky.
