Deepika For L’Officiel: (Un)Covered

March 6th, 2013 at 12:16 am . by Priyanka

L’Officiel put Deepika on its March cover dressed in Dior. Styled in the same metallic blue eye-shadow as shown on the runway, Deepika cuts quite the striking picture. The cover itself, not as much. The typeface is bit of a downer!

  2. Senorita says:

agree. face says 2013, font says 1993!

  3. sancho says:

    wow!!!! gawwwjjus gal

  4. NISA says:

Is it just me or does her leg look like it is someone else’s. I think waist down it has a weird anorexic look and I think Deepika is much more full bodied than that!

    • Gunita says:

I too feel the legs are weird. Like they cut it from the model and pasted on her.
      Bad photoshop.

    • kasthuri says:

+1. It does look anorexic and unlike Deepika. But also i dont like the pose, the hair and the hairline is a bit unatural. I like the idea of this (esp the eye shadow) look but i dont think it translated well.

      • NISA says:

And all this besides a very uncreative cover which is straight off the runway! This is plaigarising in the fashion world if you ask me. No imagination to step it up for the cover whatsover. Oh yes, they did not include the bag;)

  5. A says:

The only thing L’Officiel did right was picking Deepika, also love the eye makeup.

  6. Natty says:

Can’t believe this is a magazine cover that will be put up on stands across the country where she is showing half breasts. It is a pity with what is happening to expose people to such pictures.
Well I guess selling is what matters.

    • Roxanne says:

I have to agree with you..
To a common man, this is a woman wearing a jacket and nothing else, baring her legs and cleavage (or lack of it)
Same goes for PC’s cover, where she’s in a bikini.

If we are going to point fingers at bollywood, item songs, and even rap artists, fashion magazines too should have their own share of it.

  7. precious says:

LOL!! where did her crotch go- do her legs begin from the waist?? such bad photoshopping!

love the white and aqua combo though!

  8. Food Poisoned Attorney says:

Those legs….totally weird!!! Dont like the cover.

  9. dumbo says:

bad pose(not photoshop) because it’s making her legs look scarily scrawny.

  10. just casually says:

Bad photoshop job on the legs!

  11. sam says:

i don’t like the cover she is just looking so naked

  12. Paroma says:

The legs are weird and belong on a stick figure. That face, though…gorgeous!!

  13. T says:

Why have they photoshopped Anushka Sharma’s legs on to her???

  14. Simran says:

Nah! too much skin show and as others pointed out, the bad photoshop job on the legs isn’t helping either!

  15. fashionista says:

THey have photoshopped her face to Aishwarya!

  16. krupa says:

    ^ same thoughts here

  17. noor says:

wow ok phtoshopped legs… but face is gorgeous as always

  18. Roni says:

she luks HOT ….could be a Bond Gal hands down !!!

  19. Anon says:

Wow – wot innovative creative styling……not!
Just copy right off the ramp….sheesh

  20. Saya says:

Legs look weird like most have mentioned. But she does have the body to carry off that jacket look. Its funny to always read the breast policing comments that too on a magazines cover. Lol

  21. Mikaela says:

naturally sexy gal- looking good DEE!

  22. Mikaela says:

loooove the way Dior looks with Raf Simons heading…the classic element was soo missed- this Dior coat is another example.

btw, would love to see more Jean Paul Gaultier on some of these girls here… and Yohji Yamamoto, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Lilia Pustovit.

  23. sagar says:

gorgeous Deepika makes it work, another fab look! – love it.

  24. cooks says:

She looks like a plastic barbie doll, the digital processing is too much!

  25. Amit says:
