Wow! I have always loved Sonam’s Airport-style more than her Red-carpet-style!

And we’re back with the book being held in the perfect way to show off the title

Seriously? How else do you hold a book?

+1000…Always tries to show what a serious reader she is..A lot of us dump the book into our bags..but then, no one would know what intellectual stuff we are reading, right?

For god sake why can’t she wear simple jeans and tee while travelling ? Always so dramatic ! Duhhhh

      I agree, and those boots!!

      Because.. she likes dressing up..
      THIS is casual for her..
this is her signature style (it might be OTT for some … example Rekha.. she has a signature style which is OTT for us mere mortals..but that’s her personal style. Also, no need to draw the daggers out as I am not comparing Sonam to Rekha.. just saying that both of theirs personal style is such)
she probably doesn’t like wearing jeans..
so many possible reasons !!.. Duhhhh

Lol. Yes agreed. Now I don’t mind Sonam’s OTTs even. At least she is never unkempt. The make up in fact was always the culprit and here it looks just fine.

You know the overall sale of jeans around the world has reduced significantly ? Hardly see anyone wearing jeans on the street these days. Even guys prefer chinos as they are way more comfortable. Just like a loose dress is probably way more comfortable than jeans.

I’m sorry but not everyone is going to stick to what you think is “casual”. I personally HATE wearing jeans when travelling as they are very uncomfortable to sit in for hours. Would much prefer to wear what sonam is wearing. Comfort and style are very subjective and personal, so why shove your definition of “non dramatic” down her throat? I for one see nothing dramatic about this outfit. This constant “why can’t she wear jeans and a tee” situation is getting a little over the top now.

Complete agree..to me its most weird that people keep asking her of wearing jeans..i wonder wat satisfaction ll it bring to people asking..funny

How is pants made of tough fabric more comfortable than this easy breezy maxi. I think this look is very appropriate and casual.

  6. prep-y at | | Reply

Because, it’s Sonam, that maxi seems okay. But, I don’t like the maxi itself.

I don’t understand what this hoopla is about ‘dressing down’ and ‘wear a jeans for god’s sake’. God probably gives a rats ass. My only quibble with her is her make up issues. Because she is quite pretty, and that grey pallor underneath her foundation just takes away from her look. As far as her take on jeans is concerned I only might have an opinion on whether I like it or not, but certainly never that it is too ‘dressy’.

God probably gives a rats ass ~ Ha ha ha ha. Yes the only issue in most of her looks is the white washing, gray patchy makeup.

      1. Anita at | | Reply

It’s not white washing. She’s just using the wrong undertone. She used to look a lot more fair when she first entered the industry and her make-up then rarely looked ashy. I would say her make-up ever since she joined L’oreal has been too orangey and makes her look darker than she is and that undertone makes her look grey (she also has a big dark undereye problem & needs to start using 2 different foundations/concealers instead of using 1 for the whole face).

Unrelated but I always wonder whether celebrities have a bag they love and use regularly instead of constantly changing them for each time they’re seen on camera. I know they are nice bags however at a point there’s a bag that win’s a girl’s heart and she wants to use it forever (or at least a few years). I wonder if these bag changes are for media appearances.

I like what she’s wearing, I can even forgive the fact that she’s very obviously displaying the book :) But god that big is absolutely hideous and kills this look. Makes her look so posed and fake.
