Love this one indeed. I love her choice of footwear the most. Unlikely but perfect !
The neck on the dress adds such class to it.

That dress is divine! Any idea where its from?

she looks very casual elegant. Love the formal dress/casual flats/tied hair combo.

In the minority here clearly but I find this very matronly and boring looking. Yawn.

Totally agree with you. So doesn’t work for travelling and those earrings just look odd.

    2. sheena at | | Reply

so agree..looks as if she forgot to wear her churidaar!!

        @sheena exactly!

Was it just me thinking, missy forgot to wear her churidar? Heck, still so hot, she can get away with anything.

    1. Gayatri at | | Reply

I agree, @N – looks like a flared short kurta looking for its churidar.

      1. dimpy at | | Reply

I agree with both of you, first loook somehow even ifelt she forgot to wear her churdiar and walked out with kurti..mite sound blunt..but true…i did love her burbery lace coat look from the f1 race ..few days ago..now that was elegant…

I agree with Sej. It is boring and totally inappropriate for traveling. Plus the earring are totally OTT.

    1. Jay at | | Reply

lol… what is inappropriate about it? ridiculous comment.
I wear nice earrings…and bangles usually whilst travelling. Nothing wrong with looking nice esp when you travel first class with extra space and you know there will be paps around! x

      1. rvc at | | Reply

‘Dressing up’ for the paps is rule #1 in the fameho’s guide to being OTT. A short cotton/linen dress is not only uncomfortable going through security but wrinkles like a mother – you bet she changed on the flight.

        1. eclat at | | Reply

But why would she need to change on the flight? Going by the last couple of posts, she was in Delhi over the weekend for the F1, and it looks like she’s just going home to Mumbai after- a 2 hr journey at most? Plus, given her celeb status, she’d probably be whisked through domestic security, so no wait there either. This looks quite comfy. Might have skipped the slippers for flat shoes tho.

She has definitely changed her stylist … She is looking awesome these days … Very chic and very stylish …. and how i envy that height, no need to wear foot torturing heels …. i know a lot of people complain about it, but i love the fact that she is always in flats … how comfy

    1. rvc at | | Reply

Embrace flats sister! DP is only 5’7″/5’8″. You don’t have to be tall to wear flats!

      1. naiad at | | Reply

        DP is 5.9″

        1. rvc at | | Reply

Yeah, if she’s 5’9″, I’m Gisele. I’ve seen her in person before, ypu can’t believe what her PR people say. (Sonam and Anushka are actually tall, a lot of celebs just add a few inches to their heights.)

      2. swati at | | Reply

Say the people looking down at us 5’3ers

If i was anywhere around 5’6, i wouldn’t ever buy a heel …. no matter how sexy they look

        1. rvc at | | Reply

The grass is always greener on the other side – take it from a tall girl who’s wanted to be petite and cute all her life. :(

I too think that its a top of a chudidar set. Looks lovely though :-)

  18. shruti at | | Reply

Very well put together. But a tad bit overdone for travelling though..well Im not complaining! I would have loved to see a nice pair of ballet flats to keep with the girly theme of the lace dress.

  19. Ratna at | | Reply

I don’t even look that nice when I’m NOT travelling!

    1. dips at | | Reply

because u aint deepika padukone :), no offence…just kidding!!!
The dress doesnt appear travel appropriate to me!

  20. SMV at | | Reply

She looks nice but how does she wear dress in a flight? I get so cold ..have to always wear jeans

  21. beehive at | | Reply

Am I the only one who thinks she has done something to her legs to make them look so fair.. Her legs were never like this.

  22. payal at | | Reply

that’s the top part of a salwar-kameez— where did she leave the pajamas

  23. smitha at | | Reply

It’s kinda funny that people say this dress looks like a kurti, when in fact this kurti shape has been essentially borrowed from, well, a dress!
But then again to be fair, maybe pairing it with the kolhapuris do give a feeling of missing churidaars :P

    One word – LOVE.

Deepi looks her best when she does these Indo-western/ leaning towards Indian wear.

I want that dress! And her Tods bag. She has quite a number of them, eh :P
