I think it reeks of double standards to excuse her on the grounds that she doesnt know better. If we expect Indian celebrities to carry off western wear designed in the west and rip them apart when theychoose something ghastly, then the same standard shoudl apply here. If she wants to wear Indian then she has to make an effort to understand and carry off a well designed outfit. I dont think westerners look weird in Indian wear. Examples. Liz Hurley, Cherie blair, Jemima Khan. They have access to good designers and stylists, its only weird clothes make westerns look strange. Like those Rocky S sarees on that girl group, i forget the name of.
