Kapoor and Cavalli meet yet again with the Kapoor girl not only wearing Cavalli but being photographed with the designer and his wife Eva for another shoot in Vogue India. While we wait for pics, here is a video of the second shoot with Sonam that consists more of the Fall 2009 outfits.

Wearing a Roberto Cavalli giraffe-print dress, Sonam finally makes an appearance on the cover of Vogue India’s Jan 2010 edition. About time, if you ask us. Here is your first look.

While her previous Vogue shoot was more diverse (in terms of styling and choices of outfit), the December shoot has Kareena in lots of sequin. If the red ‘Armaan by Sunaina Puri’ dress looks familiar, it is because she wore it to the Karan Johar show at HDIL Couture Week. We guess she got to keep it, except, we’d have loved to see her in that Manish Arora though! :P

While the Dec cover of Vogue India (featuring Kareena again) looks good in the way Vogue covers have come to be (make what you will of that), we can’t help being irked by the constant appearance of the same dress on multiple people.

We’ve seen Ms. Kaif wear a couple of fringe dresses (first for ‘Zara Zara’ in Race, then for a shoot in FHM India) and for the Vogue India spread, Ms. Kaif wears a Fall 2009 Roberto Cavalli fringe dress with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. Am glad that the photographer (Prasad Naik) captured this dress from the side because from the front, it is quite ugly.

Spotted on Ms. Kaif in the newly released promotional stills of ‘De Dana Dan’, the same Hervé Léger dress that we first saw on Tabu in Vogue India. While we are pretty sure Ms. Kaif will wear her Léger well, Tabu blew us away in hers.

It’s just been a few days and we already have another (see the other one here) dress that’s made its way onto two major stars. Earlier we saw the red Versace dress on Katrina (see here) on the GQ cover and here is Kajol who wears it in Vogue India with a Mango cowl top to make up for the deep v-neck. If you ask us, we’d have rather seen Kajol wear a different dress than wear it with the black top.

It almost seems like, after looking at this Vogue India spread, that the dresses in question were picked before even deciding on subject. How else can you explain layering that beautiful Versace dress with a boring black top and the last pic where Kajol looks like she is trying to hold the dress up?

You’ll have to wait a tad bit longer to see these two on-screen but if you can’t wait, then the October issue of Vogue India is your next bet. Although, I am not digging the Blumarine gown, it is a delight to see these two together. Do you feel the chemistry?

P.S. Shah Rukh is the first man to appear on a Vogue India cover and is wearing D&G. Thanks ‘khadija’ for the tip-off bout the jacket.

Gauri and Shah Rukh also attended the launch event bash of Arjun Rampal’s new club ‘Lap’. Gauri wore the same Alexander McQueen strapless gown seen first on Audrina Patridge at ‘The Hills’ Finale. Interestingly enough, she wore the green version of the gown in the Vogue India spread back in Jan 2008.
