Here is another image of Deepika from the Vogue July Issue wearing a fringed Alberta Ferretti silk dress. Am glad that they shot the picture from the side and the fringe details aren’t as dominant because from the front (as seen on the model) the uneven fringe hemline just looks weird.

Deepika graces the cover of the July 2009 edition of Vogue India in a Spring 2009 Dolce and Gabbana floral gown. If this gown looks familiar to you, it is because a dress version has already been seen on Diana Penty on the L’Officiel India March 2009 cover (see here).

Now that there are two covers with Deepika on em, got a favorite?

P.S. Isn’t it a bit disappointing to see a leading fashion magazine use a design already seen before.

Its not the first time we have seen a certain outfit make its way to multiple photoshoots. Earlier we had seen Freida’s Marc Jacobs outfit make its way on Sonam Kapoor (see here ) and now High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens was spotted wearing the same Louis Vuitton dress seen first on Freida on the Vogue cover.

Question is, which shoot do you like better?

The latest cover of Vogue India features a svelte Shilpa Shetty in a mini denim skirt. We couldn’t help but remember the Bipasha cover from a year ago after seeing the blue theme of the cover which begs the question, which cover do you like more?

Update: Catch the March issue of Cosmopolitan India here and turns out it only has her in Dior, Etro and Jasmine Di Milo.

In addition to wearing Lanvin (spotted first by Fashion Critic), Freida also wears Marc Jacobs and Dolce and Gabbana in her spread for Vogue India.

I can tell you one thing for sure. I definitely prefer this shoot over the Cosmopolitan spread! ( Catch it here). That shoot was so bland!

After giving us a fabulous January cover, Vogue India disapooints by just taking an older cover from the US edition and using it on the Feb 2009 issue.

Makes me wonder though, whether recession has also hit Vogue India. Could they not afford to do a new photoshoot and HAD to reprint an already published article? Tsk Tsk. (I know it is common practice for some magazines to reprint but didn’t expect it from Vogue.)

Update: Hmm after more research, looks like the other Vogue editions recycle cover articles too. Now, I am surprised that Vogue India waited this long! ;)
