Dressed-down, dressed-up… Which of Vidya Balan’s recent sari appearances was your favorite?

We were pleasantly surprised by her look in the purple sari at the Star Guild Awards. Is that a different style of blouse that we (finally) spot on her? Baby steps! 😉 The blouse may not be our cup of tea but we do appreciate the fact that she changed things up however teeny tiny a change it may be! Besides, she looked great in that purple Sabya sari!

Giving the heavy silks a miss, Vidya attended the recent Awards night in a cotton Sabya sari and Amrapali earrings. She looked great!

Ms. Balan finally changed it up and while we appreciate her for doing something different, can’t say we love this new look.

Love her neck up (including the necklace) but the outfit itself was rather drab.

Is this a start of something new?

It was no surprise to see Vidya in a Sabyasachi . It was, though, to see Shahana in one. More so, because we saw her do the Sabya lehenga look just a few months ago in red ( see here ). She may have massacred that look with an overdose of red but this time she got it right!

P.S. Shahana is wearing jewellery by Anmol.
