Just when we thought Ms. Sen had turned a corner and was beginning to embrace color, two recent events had her go right back to where she seems most comfortable… In black.
And while there’s so much one can do with black, neither of these appearances really make the case for her.

In denims and a Joie metallic tank, Sushmita attended a recent art event. Metallic sandals, couple of cuffs, berry lips and blown out hair completed her look. She looked good! After underwhelming us repeatedly, her past few appearances have been a (welcome) surprise.

While we applaud Ms. Sen finally embracing color (how wonderful is that orange on her!), the choice of dress falls short of that perfect ten. We just aren’t sold on that draped dress (or is it a jumpsuit?)!

In an off-white top and a Marc by Marc Jacobs dotted jacquard skirt, Sushmita attended a recent art event. Ankle-strap sandals and a chain-strap Fendi bag completed her look. Am glad she added a belt to the skirt which could’ve looked a bit to twee with its elastic banded waist.
Haven’t seen her look this goood in ages! We like.

In a printed Cavalli kaftan, Ms. Sen was in attendance at the recent store launch. A necklace, smattering of rings, big cuff, big hair and a Gucci bag completed her look.
Sure Sushmita fares a lot better than most others would have but that concession aside, the whole look still feels a bit too crowded to me.
