The Gauri Khan for Satya Paul show had quite a few celebs in attendance with quite a few of them wearing Satya Paul saris. Now, we didn’t have a clear favorite, most wore their saris well, but we did know who we like the least. Between that halter blouse and the around-the-neck drape, you guessed it, it was Mandira.

Wearing a navy blue lehenga sari, Sophie attended Manish’s show at LFW on Wednesday evening. Even though the sari wasn’t heavy on embellishment, and one would’ve expected some to bling it up with jewellery, Sophie opted to go the minimalist route with a basic updo and a pair of studs.

Sometimes less is more and this was a good example of it. She looked elegant.

Highlighting the ‘glamour’ in Glamour and Style Awards, Sophie shimmered in a gold Monisha Jaising gown on the red carpet. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with matching strappy Louboutins and Farah Khan Ali jewelry. While there is no doubt that she wears the gown well, having seen many versions of this very look on her in the past, it was hard to get excited over the appearance. Here’s hoping she changes it up entirely with her next appearance!

One to normally do an edgy dress or a sparkly number at GIMAs, Sophie’s look in the white BCBG felt rather safe relatively. But, we aren’t complaining because even in the strapless dress, she looked fabulous. I must admit, the asymmetric hemline had me on the fence at first but between the soft retro curls and overall styling, I was hooked.

She finished out her look with jewellery from Farah Khan Fine Jewellery and pvc Gianvito Rossi pumps.

Of Wedding Festivities

Unless you live under a rock, you know there was a big fat Indian wedding that took place in Udaipur this past week where London based businessman Sanjay Hinduja got married to Anu Mirchandani (nee Mahtani). The wedding had almost all of Mumbai’s who’s who in attendance and one of them was Sophie who sported Manish Malhotra outfits at the festivities that took place.
