At designer Nisha Sagar’s collection launch, Sagarika Ghatge wore an outfit from the designer’s collection. The outfit had it’s color going for it but that’s about it. Way too busy for us! And, that’s without even going into the lurex churidaars. In comparison, much prefer her in yellow!

The ‘Chak De’ girls were united again at Fashion Week and while the dresses they wore were interesting, it was the footwear & clutches that brought their look down. The cream clutch and sandals were too plain for Vidya’s purple draped number and the black clutch way too stark for the colorful orange number worn by Sagarika.

The Good: A sari that would’ve looked tacky on anyone else came off looking so elegant on Sharmila who walked the ramp wearing diamond jewellery.
The Bad: Sagarika, also wore a black sari but with gold jewellery and somehow the look just didn’t gel together. The sari felt too modern and the jewellery way too traditional for it.
The Ugly: Neither of the two compared to Sonal Chauhan and words can’t express our horror at seeing her on the ramp. We hope she got paid tons of money to be dressed like that! Shudder!

For the mahurat of her upcoming movie, Sagarika Ghatge made an appearance in a blue and white dress which she paired with some exotic peep-toe pumps. And, she looked good!
It’s been a while since Ms. Ghatge has wow‘ed and this appearance sure was a step in the right direction.

In Sagarika’s case, we couldn’t see this scarf-style Babita Malkani dress very well back in Dec because she was stuck at the hips with Vidya Malwade. But, having seen it now on choreographer Pony (yep, that is her name) Verma, the asymmetrical hemline isn’t so bad.
With wedges, the dress would work for a good summer look. Of course, Pony shows us how you can kill a look instantly. Those gladiator black sandals clash badly with the dress.
