Considering Sabyasachi was the costume designer of ‘Paa’, it was no surprise to see these two ladies sport creations by the designer at the premiere. Vidya gave us a more traditional look with pulled back hair and mogra in the hair, while Aishwarya went for a more sexy look by way of a lace sari and red lips. Even though Vidya’s hair bothers me a tad but, my vote went to her just because I liked her sari more. Wish Ash’s was a solid black instead of lace-y.

Vidya Balan may have been wearing Sabyasachi but there is no way the designer would approve of how she wore the two pieces together, would he? Would he?
While individually we liked the pieces, they clearly belonged to two different outfits/looks. And that tightly curled hair did Miss Balan no favors, not to mention those entirely too-tall-for-the-skirt-and-much-too-chunky-for-the-outfit pumps. Oh Vidya, Vidya, Vidya.

Spotted Ms. Balan looking lovely in a green Sabyasachi sari at the designer’s flagship store in Delhi. Of late, we’ve seen some Sabya creations that we’ve not quite lusted for, but this one, we want. Badly!

At a recent party, spotted Ms. Dutta in a voluminous Sabyasachi looking quite lovely but is that a stole/dupatta I see lost in the voluminous folds? Also, it’s about time Ms. Dutta ditched her knack of pairing absolutely mismatched bags with her clothes. Remember this?

Spotted Ms. Bachchan looking fabulous in a Sabyasachi outfit while on the Oprah show that’s scheduled to air this Monday (28th Sept) in the U.S.
