Mehendi Style

The festivities have begun! In a Sabyasachi sari draped the Bengali way, Vidya posed for the shutterbugs during her mehendi.

Between the sari, the hair and the flowers, some of you may find the look too mature on Arpita. We however thought she looked nice. Only thing we’d change would be that clutch, just didn’t work with rest of her look.

In Sabyasachi

Changing it up in a Sabyasachi sari and a curly do was Bipasha at the Bachchans’ Diwali party. As much as I love the colors, the sari just doesn’t seem to work for her. Also, really dislike the drape. So sloppy, messy and unfinished.

Kangna too picked Sabyasachi for the party. Unfortunately though, these are the only pics we have of hers as of now.

In Sabyasachi

As part of Jehangir Art Gallery’s diamond jubilee celebrations, Sabyasachi presented his collection and after which, Vidya Balan felicitated certain artists. All this wearing what else, but a Sabyasachi sari.

We are okay with Ms. Balan picking Sabyasachi for ninety-nine percent of all her public appearances. We really are. However, we do wish she’d stop dressing beyond her years (by which we don’t mean she should instead pick blingy saris and barely there blouses). We give her mad props for always choosing saris. Just wish her signature style didn’t always have to mean her having to channel her inner hot maami. Not that it’s a bad thing, just that it’d be a lot more appealing if she’d mix it up. No?

P.S: You may recall seeing a version of this sari on Shruthi Haasan here.
