Both Priyanka and Natasha were at the Delhi Couture Week for Manav Gangwani’s show sporting the designer’s saris in show of their support.

While we aren’t particularly feeling either of their draped numbers, will say that Ms. Gill fares way better in hers while Natasha looks entirely overwhelmed in hers.

You know by now, when it comes to our saris and denims, we are quite the traditionalists and so the bias is entirely our own. 🙂

Once we heard Ms. Gill was attending the Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 show in Paris, we begged for her to send us over a pic of what she wore. Priyanka, wore a McQueen dress that she brightened up with yellow studded McQueen pumps. We like the color clash!

Balmainia

We’ve yet to see the tinseltown ladies pick up Balmain but until they do, we’ll keep ourselves happy spotting some on the non-filmi ones. Closer to home, Ms. Poonawala wore the same Balmain jacket seen on Gisele on the Vogue cover and in London, Priyanka Gill hosted a Diwali party wearing a Balmain dress with a heavy kundan choker. Am all about mixing it up but the heavy-duty traditional necklace didn’t quite work with the edgy dress.

P.S. Still have my fingers crossed and hoping to spot one (some day) on the ‘filmy’ crowd (and not in a magazine spread). Will it ever happen? 😛
