Of the ladies to wear Missoni knits at a recent do, Anu was my favorite. Loved the mary-janes and the striped Prada clutch with the simple knit dress.

For her appearance, Neelam glam’ed it up in a Dolce and Gabbana shirt which she paired with denims. Black accessories which included peep-toe pumps, Chanel bag and Hermes belt completed her look. Namrata on the other hand, did the more casual, preppy look by pairing a green light knit with a button-down and shirt and light-wash denims. She finished her look with a red Dior bag and animal-print heels.
Two very different looks in denim and green. And while we aren’t fawning over either, it’d be safe to say Namrata had far less success than Neelam did with her look. The (Namrata’s) bag and the shoes killed it for us.

Also at Neelam’s store launch were Seema, Maheep and Madhoo. As far as fashion goes, this event was pretty meh. Barring Twinkle of course! The only thing to stand out among this trio was Seema’s Balenciaga bag. :p

The host (and jewelry designer), Neelam kept it simple in a classic vintage DvF’esque wrap dress that she paired with some nude sling-backs at her store launch. Wish she’d chosen a different dress so that her jewelry would’ve at least had a fighting chance coz’ the way things were, her necklace all but disappeared into the dress.

Two recent appearances of Neelam saw her give us looks that were both dressed-up and dressed-down. And while there wasn’t much to fault with her casual avatar, it’s hard to look past the appearance from the film festival where she looked really well put together. She looked great and the color totally worked for her!
