At the unveiling of a song from her upcoming movie, Alia did desi in a lavender Manish Malhotra suit paired with Amrapali jewellery. She looked nice but did anyone else find the floor-length anarkali too heavy on her. Her Kotwara suit from yesterday felt much more easy breezy in comparison.

Dia helped judge the Miss India Australia pageant in Sydney this past weekend and for the event chose to wear an ivory beaded Manish Malhotra sari. Going jewelry free was a good move but I wish the sari had a sleeveless blouse or had shorter sleeves.

Post her Unicef event, Priyanka attended a book launch in Delhi where she was seen doing desi in a pink and white Manish Malhotra floor-length anarkali. Going for that berry lip to offset that pale pink and white was a great move but I can’t say I loved the anarkali. It just felt so heavy on her.

At the Elephant Parade India event, Sophie was photographed in Manish Malhotra. Wearing her hair back, she rounded out the look with traditional earrings, a berry lip, cocktail ring and a Bottega Veneta clutch.
Though she wears the separates well, it wasn’t a look we warmed up to. Much too matronly for Ms. Choudry!
